Yeah, some of the 8th edition books go for surprisingly reasonable amounts. My previous experience on German 'bay has been really mixed. Sometimes books go for reasonable prices, sometimes they reach absurd levels. I consider myself very lucky, getting the book for 35€ (including P&P) is a bargain - I think it retailed for 39€ back then. |

I managed to pick up my first battle mat from the office today. It is a cloth style one rather than neoprene, mainly as I loved the design and it didn’t have the mouse mat option! Still very happy with it and it even came in a nifty bag. And I also picked up another contrast paint and the 40K sniper assassin  |

I just bought The Generals Compendium. Looks awesome. Plus 5 Khorngors with command, whom will lead my bestigors. When they arrive will need to decide on what red paints create a good, dark red armour.

When they arrive will need to decide on what red paints create a good, dark red armour. What’s the General’s Compendium? It’s a 6th edition book but absolutely loaded with hobby goodness. Possibly up there as one of the greatest things GW ever produced for fantasy. It’s an example of why 6th ed is still so loved. It really was a golden age for fantasy (at least in terms of support). I’ll see if I have a pdf and will Dropbox it and send you a link. |

What’s the General’s Compendium? Best WFB supplement ever. I couldn't agree more. As I have stated elsewhere on this forum, one would need multiple lifetimes to fully explore all the hobby ideas contained within it. It is a masterpiece. |
