Alright, I'm definitely going to look this one up. Maybe there's one on the 'Bay.

Let's see: - 32 Empire State Troops (the old 6th edition monoposers - still way better than the current stuff GW is selling)
- 3 NG Fanatics
- 10 WE Waywatchers
- one WE Waywatcher Hero and one WE Spellsinger
- 10 Spider Riders
- a Chaos Giant
- 6 Skullcrushers

4 Dark Elf Transfer sheets.
For some point in the future when I inevitably start painting the enormous backlog of dark elf miniatures I have in my closet.
probably when I finish painting my 3000 point Imperial Fist list (?)
Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game is also calling though so who knows.

I bought a bunch of models to fill out a small (by this forum's standards) army from a core of the 5th edition starter set of Bretonnian models (12 knights and 24 bowmen). From FireForge: 12 Teutonic knights (will use most as grail knights, and three knights errant, I think) 12 Sergeant at arms (These guys are half mounted yeomen (unbarded horses) and half will be knights errant (barded horses), with some kit bashing from the teutonic knights as well as an extensive Empire bits box) 48 foot sergeants (Men at arms) 4 Pegasus knights Also grabbed a box of 24 templar infantry that I will use for Empire swordsmen, with some kit bashing. I'll use some of this kit for the knights errant above as well; good helmets and cloaks. I think the quality of FireForge is decent, but they are a bit small. I'm thinking of ways to make them appear a bit bigger. In particular, the horses are shorter than GW, so I may lift them up with some greenstuff to look like they are running on rocky terrain. The scale difference isn't terrible, but it is noticeable, particularly in horse height. Also, from Gamezone, a Lord/paladin, BSB, and damsel/prophetess on foot (really impressed with these sculpts). I also found a suitable mounted damsel/prophetess and a damsel on foot from Reaper Miniatures. I still need a trebuchet or two to round out the army (waiting for MOM miniatures to get them back in stock, or find another option) and maybe another Lord/paladin and mounted damsel/prophetess. Got to have good spell casting options for any army... except Dwarves, of course. No spells, no cavalry; that's a special butterfly of an army if ever there was one.

I’ll also be picking up the foot sergeants as men at arms in order to support them. I know Norba have sometimes had a bad rep (I’ve been less than impressed historically) but they are very shortly due to launch a second KS where they are moving into plastic models. This one includes a trebuchet option (as well as multiple knights). Thought I’d mention it as you are after one.

With the club scenery unavailable due to the big C, I’ve been finally looking at boosting my options on that front. I’ve found someone who does custom terrain at what I thought was a very reasonable price and just purchased this river set (£35 all in and free postage for this). I particularly liked that it came complete with a bridge. Saved me grabbing the warlord games bolt action bridge that I’d been eying up and the GF9 rivers. For scale, the river sections are each around 12” long.

Very nice scenery! I managed to nab this, been after it for a while. Think I have all the 8th books I'll ever be now!

Knoffles, thanks for the heads up on Norba. I've only looked at their site online and haven't ever seen their minis in person, so I can't really attest to their quality. From the website it looks like at least some of them are fairly low quality, but online pics can be deceiving. I'll keep an eye on their kickstarter for sure.
And I agree, I probably understated my feelings about the quality of Fireforge; they are quite good, just a bit small next to many GW models. I think they'll work out quite well for my Brets, just may have to modify them a bit.

Not brilliant but passable. Probably similar to some of the MOM stuff though more expensive. I also have two different trebuchets. Again these are their resin casts and the trebs themselves are not bad at all (it’s difficult to screw up flat wood!). The crew lack the crispness that you expect from other model companies. None of these have been built as yet (sitting in bags in the Bretonnian box!). Now they are moving into plastics, I’d expect their quality to pick up substantially, as such I won’t share any photos as the resins are being completely replaced.

I bought some of the Chaos Dwarf style miniatures from Norba, and was not impressed when they arrived. So, I sold them on ebay, but maybe some of their newer kits are better.

Picked up a box of Skullcrushers bought via 'bay from a local seller yesterday. Another good deal: the box originally goes for 78€, I got it for 50€. Since it was the AoS packaging, they didn't come with the rectangular bases - and I just asked the guy. "Sure, have quite some, you want them?" ... "I'll take what you got!"
So on top of the NIB Khornies I got a bag full of proper WHF bases in all sizes. Gave him another tenner - we wer both happy with the outcome.

I just got this off eBay. Not in the greatest condition, but at least it's all there. I'll take care of it now.
