I just ordered 30 flagellents and a luminark to continue to bolster the yet unbuilt Empire army oh and another gyro so I can field two bombers and some coptors in a future list. Now those sound like some GOOD purchases! Ones resulting in hours of entertainment! Totally. If it wouldn't be a MAJOR financial investment that I'm not prepared for, I would start an Empire army as I think they'd be quite fun to play.

Bent finecast weapons - you should just be able to bend those back after heating them under hot water; then set them under cold water. Thanks but he's going to be a tyrant and I wanted to switch up the weapons anyway.

I picked up 30 metal chaos warhounds for $1 each š gonna use them in my Khorne Daemon army as flesh hounds, they match the furry bloodletters better than the ones with the fins.

And Iāve also ordered a halfling command set from old school miniatures to bolster my halfling unit.

Thank you Lizards of Renown, Iāve heard itās one of the weaker armies although havenāt had chance to play the army yet I must admit. Though agree with you regarding the background and models. I am trying to collect the 8th edition army books although the prices for them have really gone up.

The main point for me is the Unstable rule that everyone has (plus the fact that there is a limited magical resurrection of models).
It still remains my favourite as it's just so goddamn interesting. I love the whole egyptian vibe.
I'm currently teaching my wife to play 8th Edition (yay!) which will means that at some point soon I will have the ability to play regular games despite the endless lockdown and I'm going to try out a bunch of tactics with them.
Will post in the tactics section once done!

Ok Iāve gone a bit a bit crazy this month and just ordered: Wurrzag (in case they get rid of the model) and pretty much the remaining Empire models I want to call that army ready: 10 handgunners, 10 halbadiers, 3 Demigryphs, 10 Greatswords.

I just spent Ā£20 on Burlock Damminson, I have always loved his model, and I wanted a funky engineer model anyway.
Trying to decide whether to keep his banner pole or not!

Iām in the same dilemma for quite a few of the models of this age including bugman and the slayer king. I have the banners but havenāt attached them as yet but itās main as they are kept in foam trays so not having the banner makes storage easier.

I use Bugman as a BSB, so I kept his on. And Ungrim has the banner too, purely because he's so dinky.
I guess the whole reason the characters had banners was to make them stand out as the characters?

Iāve managed to pick up the high elf selafyn model for a good price. The downside is heās missing both his sword and shield. Though I think half the fun in finding miniatures like this is trying to refurbish them back to how they used to look.
