With regards to slayer characters only allowed to take runic weapons and not ancestral heirlooms, I did wonder if that distinction was for simplification as ancestral heirlooms cover weapons, armour, talismans and banners and the only way round it would have been to put ancestral heirloom weapons allowed but as it doesn’t state which are weapons/armour/talismans, it might have opened further loopholes. Each artefact on the Ancestral Heirlooms list has a specfic entry identifying its magic item category. So, one could have said "may take a Magic Weapon from the Ancestral Heirlooms list or a runic weapon." Strictly speaking, "may take a Magic Weapon or a runic weapon" would already suffice, since Dwarf characters are not allowed to take magic items from the BRB - but I am sure that would lead to further argument.

I didn’t realise they stated the type when I wrote it. That’s what you get for writing responses on a train rather than at home when you have the book nearby! 😊

No problem. We perfectly understand that you were constrained.
