Ooooo I like the head swops. Probably as I love that style of mask.

Thanks guys Glad the Blood Knights are battle ready. April 2022 challenge complete with 2 weeping willows and apple trees ready for the battlefield. Aquired this Warmachine colossal from Ebay. It's metal and broken badly so I now have an additional task to fix the Kraken! It will make an amazing Hellcannon.

Will try to fix, touch up paintjob and balance this heavy metal model Kraken for the May 2022 challenge. Will make a great Hellcannon or maybe Chaos Dwarf Iron Daemon/Skullcracker once it is ready for the battlefield. I'm now leaning skullcracker after witnessing a recent 3000 point Chaos Dwarf battle due to the Dr Octopus style tentacles at the front. Unfortunately I'm going to need a supportive rock underneath the middle of the model to stop it toppling over. And need to touch up the paint job around the bits I've glued back together.

Very happy with this eBay 3d printed model I got along with some others. It's on a sculpted round base but I might end up putting it on a chariot base. I'm really happy with the detail/build quality of this Cyclops Centaur. I added the plastic horns with super glue to give it a more bestial/feral look and confirm its evil allegiance and make it fit in better with my army. Really happy with how it turned out and it was pretty easy to put together with very little cleaning up needed. I'll possibly use it with the Chaos Dwarf bull Centaur tauruk rules modified given this is something I see as a super Centigor more than a stockier bull Centaur. I could even use it as a Cygor maybe given its solo eye but its a little small for that...Cygor profile isn't that strong however and the model is roughly the same size as a GW shaggoth. So many possibilities, on a chariot base it will make an amazing centigor unit filler so I always have that as a fallback. As it's for my Beastmen and has a couple of similarities to a certain recently released nice but ridiculously overpriced Games Workshop model.......I've tentatively called this guy Kragnot.

That 3D model is sweet. I also love the board in your earlier game. It would be so good to play something like man o war on

That looks as thought it'd make a great Ghorros proxy model, if one resculpted his eye from one to two with Green Stuff and added a Unicorn horn to represent the remnants of the unfortunate Arsil. As for the Kraken, I would have thought that would be a better fit as a K'daai Destroyer.

He would make an amazing Ghorros proxy but I already have a Ghorros proxy painted and not too long ago bought the actual Metal Ghorros which I hope to paint one day. This guy is a fair bit bigger and top wide for a cavalry base which is Ghorros official base size. Yeah great point about the Kraken as a Kdaii destroyer....it has the size for it, glowing green could arguably be the flaming/blazing body attacks. It certainly looks beastly enough. I pondered it but what to do with the Kraken gun which is quite large and prominent? That's why I was looking at the Hellcannon due to the shooting attack. Hmmm, food for thought...appreciate the 2c. Points/size wise the ridiculous Destroyer is probably a better fit. I need to get cracking on getting the model ready for the table 😀

Borborygmos the Cyclops completed for the June 2022 challenge. First Magic the Gathering mini I've painted. Supposedly pre primed but paint doesn't stick as well as a properly undercoated GW model so will probably spray undercoat any future purchases. 275 point pick for my Beastmen. Went with a completely different colour scheme than the official model (pictured) but kept the firey hair. Borborygmos looks better on a Warhammer fantasy base than a circle one I think. Pretty chuffed with how this guy came out in the end!

Hell yes buddy. Loving the colour combinations. The lime green on the wrists and turquoise on the chest really works with the purple body. What rules are you using for him?
