Bored? Want to scroll? Lots of great square based armies to be seen here. It's a Facebook link, but so far there are 2 cool albums with dozens of photos. www.facebook.com/groups/748305481863606/It's isn't EEFL, but I'll forgive them. It's on square bases. It's rank and file fantasy fighters and knights and monsters. Pretty close to home for me. It's better than the look and feel of Age of Sigmar, IMHO.

There's a bunch on my feed as well.
Will you'll be happy to know Shane won the Dungeon Bowl tournament and took most casualties in the Saturday traditional Blood Bowl tournament.

There are some great looking armies there. The high elf chariot unit that incorporates the tower is stunning (if I’m looking at it correctly on the phone!).

Cool man (nice name) I had a quick scroll down your Twitter and liked this post from you. "Which veteran gamer in that story grew the community and which was killing the community’s future? Which young player was headed to quitting the game and bad mouthing it forever more. I know plenty who have sworn off tournament Warhammer because of 1 experience. We can do better." Some people really give the hobby (whichever system) a bad rap. The first time I encountered people like that it just blew my mind. I can imagine it's a reoccurring issue for you as a tournament organiser trying to keep the atmospheres friendly and welcoming. Love your enthusiasm.

Thanks man.
I'm pretty passionate on the importance of soft scores to developing a healthy tournament community (as opposed to a toxic one.) That story I linked to was from Magic but it's absolutely pertinent to miniature games in general.
It's all about the next generation to make the miniature community thrive. What helps bring new blood into the hobby and what keeps those new players committed long term. That's my underlying premise you'll notice with most of my posts.

At my first WH tournament as an adult, I saw a local (Rochester) store owner have a spaz attack in the middle of a game.
I took 10 years off from tournament play

Possible suggestion for best scoring metric: Beer count Count empty beer bottles?? Oh, wait - That won't work the young 'uns, BRB

I do think that's a possible option. . . famously at Crossroads there was a guy running Kevin's Gnoblar horde army who did a shot with his opponent every time a 42 point unit of 20 gnoblars was destroyed.

I'll let everyone guess who I'm talking about.
I don't even know what it was about bc they were on the top tables and I had lost my first couple of games.
The guy just lost his mind and was screaming at his opponent. I was sure we were about to witness a table flip.

I'll let everyone guess who I'm talking about. My guess would be Boldo. Which is too bad. I enjoy his perspective on painting, gaming, army building, lore, themes, old miniatures, and more. But, all that said, I have seen other players put him on tilt in a game. I've personally played him twice in tournaments and both times he was a fine opponent. Compared to his usual personality, he was a little tight, a little cagey... a different "In Game" mindset - But that's to be expected in a tournament.

Yeah I read that story about the new guy binning his cards after the tool was a schmuck. Good on the other veteran for being awesome.
