I picked up a bunch of AoS Dwarfs that I need to rebase on 20mm squares. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best place to get GW comparable bases? Curious what the best alternatives are in terms of quality/quantity/value.

For something like that I just rely on eBay. Lots of choices there...with slots, without slots... I prefer them with minimal surface texture, but to each his own.

Bases are fairly common. If you browse through miniature producers websites, like many of us do, you will encounter them regularly. But, I can't always remember where I see them. eBay is the easiest to remember.

Curious what the best alternatives are in terms of quality/quantity/value. I got a bulk lot of laser cut wood for my 20mm. They have no texture or any thing remarkable about them but for the price can't be beat!

I just got my order from Tiny Worlds. Took a little over a week (UK to US). They’re the same type of bases that come with Norba and Avatars-of-War. They have spaces for 5mm X 2mm circular magnets. I was planning to magnetize some units with steel movement trays from Shogun Miniatures (http://shogunminiatures.com)

I use tiny worlds for quite a few things including bases. They are very reliable

Curious what the best alternatives are in terms of quality/quantity/value. I've managed to scavenge some from various hobby shops, and I've also noticed that Warlord stock pretty much the same bases as GW's on their store, for better prices than GW used to - 20 for £4 rather than 10 for £3: store.warlordgames.com/collections/bases/products/20mm-square-slotted-bases-20True, they have slots in them but it's easy to cover them up or paint over them if you're sticking minis without slots onto them (a category the Dwarf minis certainly fall into)
