Another unit i just finished, the grail pilgrims! These are a conglomeration of bodies from the soldier and cultist sprues from frostgrave miniatures and bits from a bunch of different kits, empire militia, empire state troops, empire greatswords, bret men-at-arms, bret bowmen, victrix greek slingers, and more im sure im forgetting. The grail reliquary is from reaper. I was really worried as i was painting these guys that this wasnt working and i had made a mistake. But as i finished the shields and put them on i did a 180 and really liked how these came out.

Whew, thats 71 models done and one step closer to finishing my bret army. Still i got left 1 bret lord (happy i could get this model!l 9 more knights of the realm (will give me 24 knights of the realm total) 1 trebuchet with crew.
After having done 50 knights im kind of half dreading half looking forward to finishing the last 10. After that my bret army should be done unless i can pick up a louen or repanse for a reasonable price.

The Pilgrims are looking sharp 👍 though unless you are using a different set of rules the old 6th ed book limited you to only 30 Pilgrims and the Relic. The relic takes up a 6 man foot print so you could end up with a 36 figure foot print but that's it in the regular book.

But yes i am using the warhammer armies project bretonnia 8th edition rules to play. The 30 model max rule is removed in that version

Peasants and pilgrims look great. Sounds like you're on the final straight with your army.

The limitations of the old book really are not fair in 8th ed.

Ok ive been busy working on fair bretonnia. First up we got the peasants! No not the men-at-arms you all are thinking of, im talking the peasant levy of villagers! This is the folk rabble from fireforge. I probably need to get another box to get an even 50 (currently at 36 Nice unit of sword-fodder you've got there! Are you going to use them at Men-at-Arms or are you using the Matthias Eliasson rules where peasant levies are also a choice?

Love the alternative Grail reliquary. The tomb works really well.

This thread makes me realize 2 things.
1) I really was painting like a mad man here 2) my old phone camera and photo taking abilities were abysmal
