Other than Ebay , which continues to be a good source for players looking for , mini's , rule books and army books as well as Games Workshop Black Library which has a digital dl for the BRB Warhammer Eighth Edition Rules , in addition the new the Army Book Development and Expansion rules we have here on these forums shouldn't we have a sticky that has links to those websites that have downloadable pdf.'s for 8th Edition compatible rules , like Warhammer Armies Project , as well as other fan based websites like Dogs of War Online . The Warhammer Project has 8th edition compatible rules for a dozen armies. Also I had idea the other day for someone looking for army book rules , they mentioned the 9th Age rules for chaos , I told them I would go over the rules and make them a copy adjusted to be compatible with 8th Edition. It was very simple for me to edit The 9th Age rules for WotDG to be compatible with the chaos warrior army book from 8th edition.
Also should we create a sticky with a link to those websites that sell miniatures that are compatible with 8th edition other than GW. I came across the miniature company Russian-Alternative and they have some great mini's that can be used in Warhammer 8th armies I also know Mantic Games has miniatures that look great some I like better than the GW's like the Orc chariots.
Mierce Miniatures - Lots of different stuff (I picked up my Ghorgons from here. They very often have sales, e.g. 2 for 1 or xx% off so I advise never buy anything from there immediately, unless you have spare money lying around and are happy to do so of course!)
I had never seen these dwarves before now. The price point is really good. The rank and file ranger types and rank and file ironbreaker types work out to 1 euro each which appers to be under $1.20 each. Even with overseas shipping if you are doing a horde sized unit the shipping cost would quickly diminish. Thanks for sharing.
I have bought a number of things from them and found the service all good and delivery was quick (though I am in the UK so it's not that far from Spain). With the photobucket issue, I've linked a post on my blog that shows one of the purchases and has a mini review of the quality (instead of embedding the pictures here).
Thanks for the reviews. I have been aware of MoM miniatures for a long time but always think their sculpts are among the worst of the Spanish company. Coupled with their 25% shipping policy to the Far East and suddenly the whole things get as much expensive as Gamezone or Tercio Creativo, their definitively better competitors.
I'm not sure where this document originally came from but it was definitely knocking around on the Warhammer forum before it closed down and was often used as an FAQ/Errata supplement in quite a few of the UK Warhammer tournaments covering a number of the 'grey' areas/rules that were often disputed between players.
The link is for a random site I found as I couldn't attach my copy to the post. I do have it as a PDF if anyone wants it.
Oh and it does rule predatory fighter as only the front rank and as we were using this document in our club comp I didn't need to ask the question yesterday. That's what I get for not reading my own comp pack...(doh!).
