Just realized this is all three days and it's a hour drive from my house.
Am I any use if I'm only able to play all day Saturday or should I be taken off the list?
Sry fellas.

roughtimes, can you spend the night at the resort?
If not, we could make it work, I think. Friday is suppose to be set up, then all day/night sat. We could workout something if you can't return sunday...

It's up to you guys. I can definitely be there Saturday. I'm chaos, so it's not that large of an army in terms of set up

Yes - only 2 days. I am working a normal day Friday and won't get to the resort until 7:00PM. I live 20-30 minutes away and plan to have my wife drop me off Saturday so I can booze it up. I'll drive there and back on Sunday, no big deal.

Are we okay with any point total from 4,000-5,000? YES! You are encouraged to bring 5,000 points, but if you cannot, you can bring less – to a minimum of 4,000 points. You must bring at least a 4,000 point army.

There's some of the old Norse dwarfs in his army but not a lot. Lots of beautiful old metal dwarfs though.

Hey, guys! Long time, no read! Sorry, I've been swamped with my quadruplets of late. They are 15 months old now and getting into EVERYTHING. I've had to set my hobby stuff to the side for a while but its starting to look like I'll be able to start getting back into things a bit. (I've been working on a my Orc Shaman after the kids go down for bed and am almost finished. - tonight probably.) This event sounds amazing! I'd love to go, but need to know where it is. (I haven't read the entire message - I only have a few minutes before I have to go bathe the kids.) I missed talking with you guys and sharing stuff! Looking forward to catching up! It is great to see a post from you mottdon! Info on the venue and location can be found here daboyzgt.com/

Kevin, will the teams use the allies rules right from the rule book? I see your description states "Each side consists of a team alliance of four or more players with each player in control of their own individual army." But I just want to be clear if this means the allies rules from the book of if your scenario will include description on how this will work. Also do we need to consider some modification to the magic phase. I see both sides to the magic phase in a huge game like this. On one hand 2d6 power dice or 1d6 dispel dice among 20,000+ points is in fact very small. On the other hand adding more power and dispel dice will make the magic phase that much more complex and take more time.

Dannytee,
Yes all the alliance rules in the WFB rulebook will be in play. The sides will be Forces of Order vs. Forces of Destruction. Non-aligned armies, which we do have two (Ogre Kingdoms & Tomb Kings), will go on an appropriate side depending on the final amount of armies/players.
Each side will choose an overall Grand Marshal. This will be important because the Grand Marshal, as an actual player, will have several responsibilities (one involves the magic phase). For the magic phase, I was thinking the Winds of Magic will be 4D6. The Marshal, whose turn it is, adds up 4D6 and that's the power dice. The Marshal then distributes the power dice to the various players on his side. The other side gets dispel dice equal to the two highest dice from the Winds of Magic roll.
