I'll definitely be getting that Herald Nekaph model and the tomb swarms, I think both look great. Unfortunately I've got almost everything in the Tomb Kings box already so probably wouldn't be worth it for the dragon alone.

So Nekaph finally gets a model With the Arcane books, it mentions spells....I wonder how they differ from the main army spells? Hashut got a mention which is great. Also it mentions 'more to come' which hopefully means more Tomb King models. Tomb King archers and skeletons ranked up pretty well on 20mm so if they are all now 25mm it's a bit annoying. We shall see. I have plenty of skeletons and horsemen already but it could well be that the Tomb King starter box is comparable in price to just buying the Tomb King on Bone Dragon and main Rulebook so we'll see. I like they are calling it the 'World of Legend' now rather than that World that was bs.

I love the look of the tomb kings box, even though they're 'old' models, they still look fantastic. Hopefully the box isn't ridiculous money... Some ex-soviet KGB members said tó me it will cost you one kidney and your liver. Standard GW pricing then

I'm actually very excited for once.
At first I was rather bothered by the change in base size.
But I now realize I could not care any less and I'll be keeping my dwarfs on the 20s they are.
I also won't need to buy any models for years to come since I have close to a thousands yet to paint.
What worries me now is how much the books might end up costing, but thinking about it one realizes that PDFS copies are going to ve floating around the internet on day 1.

Anyone have predictions on price for each of the mentioned? The 40K Leviathan launch box from this past summer was $250. The Horus Heresy launch box is $310. Necromunda : Ash Wastes box was $300. Those all included the main rule book and fewer models compared to the WH:TOW launch boxes. But modern 40K/HH/Necromunda models are quite a bit larger than WHF models. So the gross volume of plastic might be comparable to the WH:TOW boxes. My bet is the WH:TOW launch boxes are priced at $300. But I won't be surprised it they are $350.

185 GBP is $235 USD. Significantly below the 40k Leviathan box price. For a game that will sell maybe one tenth of the quantity. That seems like a very low price point to me.

GW generally uses a different exchange rate. to put it mildly. How much were those HH etc. boxes in pounds? this may still compute using GW math.

Horus Heresy Legion Astartes was 125 pounds, 210 dollars and 160 euros. That was for 32 new minis.

None of the boxes has anything needing it. I guess the artillery dice will be sold seperately and possibly be included in boxes to come with artillery (Empire, Dwarfs, possibly O&G).

Other than "Bret and TK box" none of that turned out to be correct - so I would not bet on this price point.

True. Weirder things have changed, but I want to believe artillery dice are still a thing. For me the only conclusion is this odd "they are not in these boxes".
