Genuine price list, only in British pounds so far:
Not too bad actually.

I'm assuming that's the stuff that stores can buy in at a discount (rather than "GW Direct"), because it's missing the various metal models they said they'd release.
It's good to see the Knights of the Realm on foot are in the list... less good to see them at £50 for a box of 10!

Prices don't look too bad, especially comparing the necropolis knights to what people on ebay wanted for them! I was expecting between £160-£180 for the Bretonnia box.

It has probably been there for a while but I just noticed something. On warhammer.com if you click "Shop" then "Other Games", the choices are grouped into different setting. There is an Old World setting and it includes Blood Bowl. I would be really disapointed, if they put The Old World there, but ín the meantime I think its highly unlikely. HH has its onw tab ín the store. Yes, I don't expect WH:TOW to be in the "Other Games" section. If Horus Heresy and Middle Earth get a spot at the top level so should WH:TOW. I just thought it was interesting to see Blood Bowl is officially in the the Old World setting. I have my fingers-crossed new Mordheim appears there eventually. Talisman too.

What all comes in the dice sets? Is it just dice or will it include the reference cards?

There have been bits pictured in the backdrops of photos, but I don't think we've heard anything about WFB scenery returning. GW has actually become relatively good at making and selling scenery kits for its various games in the last few years, so I'm hoping at a minimum they bring back several of the old WFB kits as a starting point.

No news on that front. I would grab the Arcane ruins, the Watchtower and the Garden of Morr sets ín a hearth beat.

Yeah a lot of the promo shots have had the chapel & the watchtower in the background. I do hope they come back, as I'd really like to buy a a big box full. I have my old manor house set (which I brought with good intention of working it into the coach house done in white dwarf) but I'd love to have a proper full scale warhammer town down with more of those buildings. The witchfate tower would be nice to see back. I would really love to see the old flock battlemat come back though. I really don't like the printed mousepad ones (they look to flat to my eye) and I'd buy a ton of them. I suspect we will see a single run on the old plastic terrain tiles (I think they did an AoS version of them back in 2015) which are ok I guess but I'd rather have something like the battlemat back.

I'm humming and hawing over whether to get the Forces of Fantasy and Ravening Hordes books as soon as they come out too, or whether to just wait for the Arcane Journals of the armies I play to arrive. Not sure if you realise the Arcane Journals wont have the full army rules. They are supplemental to the army lists in Forces of Fantasy and Ravening Hordes. Don't know where you got that idea from, from what I can see the Arcane Journals will have all the army rules for the faction found in it's Army List Book, plus the extended content. It makes sense to do this too, because when they plan to release new factions, they can just release an Arcane Journal for said new faction.

Here is a quote from one of the preview articles: Reading it again, they don't explicitly say weather or not the faction rules from Forces of Fantasy and Ravening Hordes are duplicated in the Arcane Journal. But the way I read it, the Arcane Journal only has the supplemental rules. You will still need Forces of Fantasy or Ravening Hordes as appropriate for your faction. I guess we'll find out for sure in a few weeks.

I doubt very much that the army profiles are duplicated in the Arcane Journals. It would make the Forces of Fantasy or Ravening Hordes semi-redundant. The Bretonnia arcane journal will have the profiles for the Green Knight, Sir Cecil, Bombard etc. There is no mention of the standard Bretonnia profiles and GW specifically stated Settra would be in the arcane journal, as would other special characters. Guess we will find out whether smaller special characters will be in the standard books or not. The big special characters seem reserved for the arcane journals, wouldn’t be surprised if the magic items in them are also bigger/stronger/higher points value.
Also my source was correct about the release date. TGA source (Whitefang) was also spot on the mark. I don’t know where mid February was coming from but I’m glad it’s here early. The wait was painfully slow. Happy new year everyone!
Edit: The standard army books for good and evil must have some special characters in like Khalida. Seems the ‘hype’ ones will be journal only.
