This is the Treewalker from Creature Caster. It was a kickstarter campaign that I funded. It has taken about 2 years to complete, but OMG! The models are stunning! Some of the best I've seen! I think you'd love their stuff, GMW. It mostly consists of demons, but there are a few others like an Emperial Dragon and this Treewalker. Very cool stuff! Just google Creature Caster and check their stuff out!
*Note* It might be a little while before you can buy any because they are sold out from the kickstarter alone. That's how popular these models are. They are working on getting all of the kickstarter sets out to backers and then they will work on selling to the public and to LGS.
The way I view this is that anyone who can produce high quality models and cause us NOT to have to rely on GW, is more than welcome and deserves our support.

Woo-hoo! My Treewalker finally came in! (Only took two years...) This is an image of it straight outta the box. Now I need to go wash some little bitz! Who/what is that happy lil' mini cloaked guy? Upper right corner? Treeminder? Forest Spirit?

Looks promising! A bit like the offspring of Orion and a tree-woman. It's going to be a fun painting project for sure.

Yeah, I'm excited about her! I plan on using her as my Anchient Treeman (Treewoman). My other two Treemen will be her bodyguards. This has been my plan from the beginning. I'm glad to finally be getting to this point. Here is the progress so far on her model. I'm waiting for some green stuff to dry and then add a few more "twiggy" parts. The model came with a Jackalope and the little hooded guy is a little "extra happy" that was included in the order since I backed them on kickstarter. He has one angel wing and one demon wing on his back. I'll probably use him as a terrain statue unless I come up with another, better idea. Any suggestions? Size comparison:

Ah i see. I do remember the name now that you mention it. I'll have to check out their stuff...... the more Fantasy miniatures products the better!
She is a big girl.... size wise she fits right in with your awesomely posed treemen. The one on the right especially looks very fearsome.
Any plans for the second, regal human looking head?
Looking forwards to seeing your tree queen painted next to her bodyguards.

Depending on the size maybe a chaos familiar.

Not a bad suggestion, though, I don't know what I'd do with just one. Plus, I really don't like Chaos-anything. I was thinking about maybe a guardian for an alternate dimension gateway? Could be a cool terrain piece. Spits our random monsters and such that attack the nearest unit.

Not yet. I'm in the interview process, but I'm 90% sure it'll go through. It's a fortune 500 company, so these things take a long time.

I don't know why but those wardancer poses make me chuckle. Nicely painted!

So are there any 8th rules written for the new Kurinos Treemen models that GW produced?

After all the Unicorn talk that we've had here lately, I was inspired to get my two unpainted Unicorns out and give them a go! Meet Frank and his sister Lisa! They aren't quite finished yet, but coming along. I'm going to put them on the larger (40x40?) bases so that they fit with the appropriate point value of the model (60 points). Here's my inspiration for them: I'm also working on re-painting the one my wife attempted years ago and I'm also magnetizing that one so that a mage can take it as a mount.
