Hello, I want to try Beastmen in my next game (after the skaven vs empire one). I have never played Beastmen before, have played against them. I read something about double doombull and multiple lvl 1 shamans around here. What builds can you recommend? Cheesy is allowed and encouraged.

What units do you have access to? If you have multiple shaman models you could try the multiple shaman around the herdstone build.
I'd definitely advise taking a couple of chariots.
If you have a lot of Gors then for your Bsb i'd recommend the standard 205 point protection build carrying the Beastbanner. This Bsb has the Gnarled hide upgrade which doesn't count as a magic item.

Since proxying is not a problem and my friend has over a thousand models, I have access to everything Why is that bsb so fantastic?

With all of this talk about Beastmen that has been going on here lately, I'm tempted to go pick up that Beastmen rule book that I saw at 2nd and Charles for $4. None of my friends play Beastmen though.

The 205 build allows for the bsb to have a 2+ armor save while still carrying a magic banner. The banner you want to carry is the beast banner. +1 strength to the entire unit. Having a big unit of gors hit at strength 4 is awesome. The magic build that works well is 3-4 lvl 1's huddled around the herdstone. Lots of power dice in the magic phase, and my preferred lore (shadow) has a great signature with a long range. It can't be ignored and is good for drawing out dispel dice to allow you to sneak in one or two "important" ones. Bestigors are amazing and should be included in every list.

I follow this thread with great excitement. I have been painting a Beastmen army for about 2 months. I still need to get a game of EEFL in with them.
I have no idea what the "Best" unit or "Best" army is. I do LOVE minotaurs because they can be so effective at rolling up chaff and at the same time getting bigger, better and more badass. This love extends to solo Doombulls, just doing their thing.
I also a fan or Razorgors, great bang for your buck. Their core seems "Meh", Gors are OK Ungors are crud - but you gotta use them and make them work.

Chariots are cool. Both varieties. There is no official model for the Razorgor chariot which is possibly a good thing!

Some people swear by the razorgor one, others say it is too expensive. Your experience? Sorry?

I'm actually not a fan of minotaurs. I love their models and there are a lot of alternate minotaur models out there that are absolutely stunning (Mierce minis minotaurs are the best I've seen). That being said I still take them just because they are cool.
At the end of the day though you are paying WAY too much for what amounts to a 3W T4 model with light armor.
Minotaur characters are a whole nother story though. Can't really go wrong there.

I ran double doombulls (one a flybull one a rambull) backed by MSU gors/ungors/chariots/harpies and a ghorghon and a jabber for most of 8th edition. I really enjoyed the list. I linked to a thread of mine on the herdstone which talked about my development of my list.
The key is beastmen aren't heavy infantry (and they have no cavalry) you can't line up across the board and smack most people. The 205 BSB and a horde of gors is medium infantry at best because of the lack of armor and low strength of attacks. Minotaurs are the same issue they put out a lot of damage but at 55 points for 3 wounds T4 6+ armor save they can't go to to toe with most things.
Beastmen are great light infantry/glass cannon/chaff units and have some pretty solid character access. In my opinion you maximize their strengths and don't try to play like a chaos warrior or combat dwarf list. Instead you do a lot of dancing, fleeing and threatening from multiple directions. With some big charge ranges on the chariots and various monsters you can threaten from a decent distance.
