See the final army list here: THE GRAND ARMY OF BRETONNIA
EDIT, FEB 2018: We are current testing the following rule to replace Prowess of the Joust.
THE LANCE
When the armies of Grand Bretonnia marshal for war, they organize into huge, armour-glittering battalions known as the Lance – the favored battle formation of the Knights of Bretonnia. When the Lance charges into the enemy, the Knights of Bretonnia strike true, impaling their foes with the lance while immediately pressing their attack with sword or axe.
A cavalry unit with the Lance Formation special rule is considered to be in Lance Formation when the unit is composed of 10 or more cavalry models. If such a unit falls below 10 cavalry models, they immediately lose all bonuses granted by Lance Formation.
While in Lance formation the unit has the Devastating Charge special rule. Additionally, enemy units of infantry, monstrous Infantry, war beasts, and swarms in base contact with a cavalry unit in Lance Formation may not be steadfast (unless the unit is Stubborn).
----------------------------------------------------------------
For those of you actively playtesting the list, please review the list carefully as there are many minor changes. The main highlights are as follows:
• The Peasants Duty special rule and Magic Resistance from the damsel Wizards have been removed. The army special rules should focus on the knights and these rules are not needed. There are many ways to get MR and the Field Warden was created to boost commoners and/or to allow players to create entire commoner armies, for those wishing to do so.
• The Hippogryph riders have been altered to become better balanced and differ from the End Times special character ridden monsters, while keeping the notion of combined Wounds.
• Tancred II and Tristan & Jules have been added as special characters.
• Grail Chapel War Chariots have become Rare choices.
Going forward: This draft is extremely close to the final army list. There will be a draft V in the future and the final list will be presented after draft V. I don't foresee major changes. Please comment of issues of balance, clarifications, etc.
Also, I'll need many high res photo of nicely painted Bretonnian units for the final army book. Please send me photos I can use, of your own painted Bretonnians, in a private message or post them right here in this thread.
Thanks.
