Do you just run it under the tap, or actually boil water and submerge it?

Depends on the temp of your tap water. I find it needs to be over 130 degrees to work best. I don't go to a rolling boil, though. That's to hot.

Meet Da Bosses Part 2Hook Jonez was Boss of the Shroomer Boyz until he had an apparition from Gork (or possibly Mork) and led his mob out on a grand adventure. Years later, and long presumed dead, he returned alone to the Eight Peaks with a golden crown on his head and an iron hook replacing his left hand. Ever since he's been acting funny and talking to himself. Nevertheless, he has gained a new following of Night Goblins who appreciate his inspired (for a Goblin) Leadership and long stories of adventure in a faraway land. 'Dat krown better not give 'im any ideas. Dere's only one King Under Da Mountain.Skargit prides himself in having killed more Dwarfs than any normal Goblin can count (so at least four) without them even seeing him. There was some grumbling when Skarsnik gave him the honour of carrying the Crooked Moon Battle Standard, but the Warlord had his reasons. Two reasons 'e's carryin' my banner: one, I don't trust 'im wiv bof 'is 'andz free. Two, wiv da biggest flag on da field in 'is 'ands, I'll always know where 'e iz.

Keep at it Anton and your goblin army will soon rival Kevin C's army in size/mini count.

I think we have a critical mass to do "World's Biggest" Dwarf versus Gobbo showdown. dannytee has a few hundred dwarfs, avatarofbugman has a few hundred dwarfs, I have a few hundred. What would a full throng of Dwarfs look like trying to stem the tide of a few thousand goblins? I don't know if even TheREALricksalamone has a big enough table for that!

I don't know how many Goblins KevinC has but I only have a little over 300 painted so far in this project. My old O&G army contains some 200 more and I have close to 400 waiting to be painted for the Army of the Eight Peaks. That's still only 800. The big battles we've done so far have mostly been played on 6x8' tables but we've done 6x12' too, mostly for 40k Apocalypse. I will need to push for at least 6x10' this time. The model count for this army is much higher than I've had before and I'll be allied with another horde army! Normally I'm always up for a big game but the distance is somewhat intimidating!

Time for another big model. Progress on the archer detachment is good, I expect to finish all 80 within a week or two. But first, meet Rocky. Slightly out of focus here I'm afraid. Side angle. Rear.

First time I see a Rogue Idol painted, really nice work! I'm also impressed with how big it really is, I never knew.
Also, your army is fantastic. In so many ways.

I don't know how many Goblins KevinC has.... Neither do I. I can't count that high and I took four math courses in college.

Here's another big monster: This is Big Llug, the Bonegrinder Giant from Forge World. I love this model, I think it's my favourite Giant of all time. He was a pleasure to build and paint. It doesn't hurt that it's a really, really big model too. It towers over everything else, even the Great Idol. Hopefully for my next update I'll have all the archers done, and then I'll bring them all out for an army shot as I will be at the 400 model milestone by then. Thanks for looking!

The giant is excellent! I especially like the flesh tones/shading.

Great paint job. I think that it's funny that the shields he's wearing are as big as the night goblin.
