I'd go for some of those wolves if they rank up well. The centaur-like vampires look like two good models jammed together to make something worse than the sum of their parts, if they could be separated without too much trouble I might be tempted to try converting them. Kragnos looks like he has a cute, shaved wookie face, not the look you want for a Destruction god lol.

New GW brushes coming: www.warhammer-community.com/2021/05/06/paint-like-a-pro-with-the-new-stc-range-of-synthetic-brushes/Synthetic one. I guess using fur in brushes is not good PR these days. Their blurb: The first thing you’ve no doubt noticed is the distinct, all-white colour scheme to set them apart from our regular brush range – you’ll never mistake which one you’re reaching for in your Citadel Paint Box. These brushes are more than just a sleek colour scheme, though.
By using carefully designed, totally synthetic bristles, the Citadel Colour STC Range offers a different painting experience to the regular range of Citadel brushes. The synthetic fibres have a noticeable springiness with balanced stiffness and distinct snapback, making them excellent candidates for drybrushing and highlighting raised edges.
The brushes with rounded tips have been designed to keep their profile for longer even when used frequently, and the straight-edged brushes are specially made to help prevent curling at the end of the bristles, keeping your painting accurate and sharp.
The Citadel Colour STC Range is coming soon, so keep an eye out for more information on when you’ll see their distinctive white colour scheme on shelves near you.

I wonder how good the quality is on the synthetic brushes and the price.

Today's Warhammer Fest reveal is NOT Warhammer: The Old World. It's a new AoS edition. Lame.

This warhammer fest has possibly been the most uninspiring to date for any of the game reveals.

They really seem to burn through the rules now for their main games.

Honestly, I've really grown to where I don't care at all when GW comes out with something new, especially since this latest Cursed City debacle. That half vampire, half Varfulf/Centaur thing? It's like they've completely lost their minds.
This week in GW-land was lame and after today's AoS 3.0 reveal, looks as though they'll continue to wear those Emperor's Clothes and refuse to admit that they look like idiots to the gaming community. I just feel sorry for all those new gamers who don't know better.

I wonder how good the quality is on the synthetic brushes and the price. I don't have any experience of synthetic brushes so no idea how they tend to compare. However, as long as the tips don't curl as easily as their normal brushes, i might give them a try.

I just feel sorry for all those new gamers who don't know better. What I found interesting is the new edition cycle is 3 years (For both AOS and 40k). Considering that you've barely been able to play for the last year, it's realistically 2. It makes me glad I'm not chasing the new editions, especially as with warhammer, I'm a completionist and would likely want all the books.

I don't mind the new Giant Beastmen Centigor thing. It's inspiring me to get assembling my Mierce fatties. Can't believe GW made it a destruction thing when it's clearly a fricking Beastman! If I see this cheap years down the track I'll pick it up. Kragnos is a cool name as well. I can already see him in Warhammer fantasy.
Pleh to a new AOS edition already. Just makes me more glad I play Warhammer fantasy!
Contrary to most I actually really like the new releases. I'm chuffed to see more Vampire counts stuff even if it's weird af. I like the wolf special character.
Whenever I see a new AOS release I always think of how I can tie it into Warhammer fantasy.
I've never really been happy with the Strigoi Vampire options on foot. Radukar or whatever fits the bill in my eyes due to his feet and lack of weediness.
New varghulf/vampire half halfs I'm a fan of but not really as they are besides the special character. I see an awesome monster and an awesome Vampire when I look at them. I'm just pondering what monster heads would go best with those awesome winged bodies. Vampire legs are easy as any human size legs can work.

The new Undead releases are up for pre-orders next week: www.warhammer-community.com/2021/05/09/sunday-preview-the-lords-of-undeath-return/We've seen it all before, but as a reminder, that includes: There's also this WFB omnibus book coming: Given it's Steven Saville, that's presumably his "Vampire Wars" trilogy, plus short stories from the other two? Oh, and those new synthetic brushes are up for pre-order at the same time.
