I think the proper term for that is "an aisle of Wights"...

While I like the new "totally not Graveguard" and the "really not an Amber Wizard" sculpts, all the WH:U models so far were seriously out of scale with anything from WHF, except for some Chaos, Ogre and Orc stuff. Thoese new warbands will most likely not fit in an existing collection, as usual these days.

Mostly I agree...like naitsabes but imo there are some gems besides Chaos in the Underworlds kits. www.chaosbunker.de/en/2018/08/07/review-warhammer-underworlds-shadespire-the-chosen-axes/Does a nice little article of the crew which I bought ages agodespite only playing Warhammer Fantasy. This whole crew make great imo Dragon and Daemon Slayer character models for Dwarfs. The relevant picture I've attached compared with a 4th edition model Gotrek. Note the Wh U model is on a rocked base making him higher, without this they are basically the same size. The main dude (not pictured) with the grand axe I plan on using as a fully kitted 3 rune axe of death Daemon Slayer once I eventually paint him up. This 4 hero crew fit imo not unreasonably with my eefl dwarf army size wise. I think so see the proper def picture you need to click the one in the article.

I've bought quite a few Underworlds teams, and mostly the scale is fine with 8th: Sepulchral Guard (skeletons) - work fine with 8th edition Skeleton Warriors Ironskull's Boyz (black orcs) - scale just fine - some photos of them in my Black Orcs here: eefl.freeforums.net/post/35583Spiteclaw's Swarm (skaven) - fine with Clanrats/Skaven Heroes Grashrak's Despoilers (beastmen) - Ungors and Bestigor are the same side as 8th ones; the Shaman scales fine too. The Grymwatch (ghouls) - also fine Rippa's Snarlfangs (goblin wolf riders) - much bigger wolves than the old ones, but the old ones were crap Hrothgorn's Mantrappers (ogre hunter and gnoblars) - same scale as 8th Morgwaeth's Blade Coven (witch elves/sister of slaughter/snake lady) - same scale, photos of them in Witch Elves here: eefl.freeforums.net/post/46029 . The snake lady is actually smaller than a Bloodwrack Medusa. Crimson Court (vampires) - barely fit on 20mm squares, they are a little bigger than 8th edition vampire infantry characters (though most of those were released long before 8th) Happy to take more photos of any of these, if anyone wants.

The real bother for me here is the base overhang with the pipe. The top of the base is the 'floor' and so the pipe would be pushing in to the ground if not for the height of the base. It feels sloppy for what is otherwise a nice model

Did they previously sell the box warbands separately? The skinks aren’t bad and I’d pick them up for my Lizardmen as I didn’t like the older models. Failing that I’ll get the lost miniature ones at some point. I also don’t mind the stone faced minis. Probably more for DnD rather than warhammer though.

They're both new warbands, but will eventually come out separately.
