Well, now I don't have to feel "guilty" about Forgery World models I have.

Last time I looked at the Forgeworld AoS/Fantasy section was probably six months back. I don't remember much being on there besides the way too enormous greater daemons.

I also only had a look a while back but there were things like the squig-gobber, night goblin command set, the mournghoul (probably spelt wrong but the undead creature).

A number of acceptable AOS releases next week: The 5 new goblin wolf riders. A new vanguard Beastmen box with shaman, 10 Ungor, 10 Gor, 10 beast Ivor and 3 dragon ogres. A new night goblin vanguard box with boss, 20 night goblins, 10 squig hoppers and 3 trolls. How about the new Beastlord? If he doesn't fit on a 25mm base, I'll have him riding a chariot.

The upcoming AoS stuff all looks perfectly fine for WHF, even if not everything might fit on the appropriate base. I could see both the "Nightgoblin big boss" and the Beastlord standing on a stone on a 40mm/50mm unit filler.
Those Vanguard boxes are actually more useful for WHF armybuilding than the SC sets they are replacing. Same as for Ogres - nice to see it!

I forgot about that one. Good spot

That beastmen vanguard set is actually pretty good, you could pick up two of them and have a decent unit of each troop type. Its not very exciting looking though, none of the big stand out models. Which is think its GWs way of dealing with just how many cygors* they have put out over the last few years, they have flooded the market! If you've picked up the other AoS beastman sets over the last couple of years, two of these and you should have a decent amount of stuff for a WFB. Just wish we had a plastic chariot after all this time! (*Not even trying and I've ended up with something like 3 or 4 cygors from AoS sets. Great looking centrepiece model but god, its one of the worst GW kits to build and the instructions have more issues than it does have correct steps!) I'm loving that new Beastlord and those wolf riders, I'm pretty sure the price is going to make me baulk though. Damn you GW!!!! Those wolf riders are going to cost a fortune. The only way I've been able to justify what they will cost for a unit is that the old metals ones are now pushing €10-12 each. I will likely to get some though, I have the warband set of them from last year and they are really nice models (even if they were pricey)

I really want a reguiment of Hobgoblin wolf riders [18 ] for my nacent Dawi-Zharr army but I think I'm going to have to make do with three roving Khans.

The wolf riders are 45€ per box of five. So more than a Euro per point?
They are lovely models though...

New Slann, which might actually fit on a 50mm base:
New Saurus, which will most likely not rank up, but should make great hero material:
I guess one could make some of the upcoming Warcry stuff work, but it is not to my taste - except for the terrain:
