Is it just me but I think all those fireslayers look alike. Why would anyone want to collect an army of one model? Even the hero’s look way to close to the warriors. I agree, but I suppose the same could be said of regular Slayers. I do like the forge though. I could see maybe buying a pair of these and making a Bugman's Brewery out of them.....😉 The difference is that slayers is apart of a bigger army book and the fireslayers is a whole army book by themselves. But yes I don’t understand the AoS army composition so I might be wrong

But yes I don’t understand the AoS army composition so I might be wrong "fireslayers is a whole army book by themselves." This is basically correct and AOS did a similar thing with flesh eater courts which is basically an entire army of ghouls. The only model which looks substantially different is the 'Chaos Dwarf' priest that comes with the Magmadroth kit. People did want to run Slayer armies in the storm of chaos so I'm glad that GW is putting out plastic slayer models. I was hoping they would add new units or kits with the new book but I guess this is it. I like the Magma elemental (what I'm calling it) and think the other thing is an amazing bit and could be the tail of it on a 150* 100 base. It could also make an amazing projectile for something like an Earthshaker Cannon. I like fire things and and will probably pick the spell set up at some stage in the future. Creating/binding a Magma elemental seems just like something the Chaos Dwarfs would do....

I can see that model being an alternate for Orion. It’s got a spear, it’s got horns, and sure looks like a spirit to me!

Both look really good. I think the Wood Elf one could really work as a simple Glade Lord. It'd look great without the "spirit" look or the bat wings.

Lol Sylvaneth silly as usual, the squig it's too cartoonish, the previous one had gums better sculpted teeth and ears without audicle. What kind of culture have the sculptors now?

I also preferred the teeth on the other gigantic squigs. If the price is good I might pick up that box( I still haven't picked up any of those new goblins).
Cheers, WGG

Agreed, if they had made the Tree Revenants as essentially male dryads that are smaller than the Kurnoth Hunters (and not resurrected Alarielle), I would most likely appreciate Sylvaneth more. As it is I just don’t like them as a faction, even with the decent Kurnoth Hunters/Treekin, Dryads and Treeman.

The sylvaneth lord does not do it for me, hate the legs and the winged beetle on the back. Mask and spear is cool though.
