Just announced - Vampire Coast will be coming to Total War: Warhammer II as a new faction Nov 8th.
Any lore guys out there - your thoughts on this? How many of the units you see come from dreadfleet or the Vampire Coast lore? Discuss below!

Vampire Pirates! Necrofex Colossus! Merwyrm? Giant zombie crabs! MOURNGUL!!!
I need this! Before I saw the video, I thought it was a bizarre choice of next faction, but wow - it looks amazing. Mourngul!

The Vampire Coast Vampires was to be another Warhammer Vampire bloodline, but I think officially Luthor Harkon (I believe is the main Vampire) was of the Blood Dragon line. For a time, GW made a bunch a vampire coast pirate limited edition models...

Very cool. Several monsters from Monstrous Arcana were in there. I loved the Gigantic Crab monster too. Very cool stuff!

I love that CA are doing stuff like this. Total War is the perfect canvas for them to spice up and expand on these minor little factions and they have been given the freedom to actually do it!
Well pleased they have made Black Arks loads better too! Plus another FLC to come alongside it, Lokhir Fellheart perhaps?
Can't wait for this trilogy to be finished, by the end of it I fully expect we will have DoW, Chaos Dwarfs, any other half decent faction of interest you can think of!

It does feel a big shame seeing a faction fleshed out like this in TW and thinking GW should really be doing the same. I am personally thanking all the people who continuously buy my PUBG crates, funding my steam account

I agree. This is almost the only game I now play.
I like they are exploring sub factions
I do however wish they’d finish releasing a couple of units for some of the existing armies (I want a Ghorgon!).

The only thing that i'm a bit wary about is the transformers, I mean walking ships with giant guns.

The only thing that i'm a bit wary about is the transformers, I mean walking ships with giant guns. They're Necrofex Colossuses from Monstrous Arcanum - they 're a perfect representation of the description/imagery of them in the book, with one exception - the cannons; but that's not a hard stretch to make given they're constructed from ships. I've actually not played TW:W for a few months now. Really need to get back into it again - I'm ashamed I've never played a Dark Elf campaign, given they're my favourite race in WFB.

Game just keeps getting better IMO (reinforcement bug and other bugs aside).

The only thing that i'm a bit wary about is the transformers, I mean walking ships with giant guns. Yes me too I wished they kept more loyal to the original army list. Which was fantasy but not overthetop.
