mottdon, is the female a conversion or bought from a different company? I don’t remember that being a GW doom seeker. Looks great though. You nailed the stripes and with the hammer head/metal block on the chain I think it looks better that the other models as it really looks like it would cause some damage!

I don't think that is GW model. The style somehow reminds me of Avatars of War? You also had an company that made slayer models in the past, I just can't remember the name.
Are you going to use them as normal slayers or part of a 6th edition Slayer army?

It's been SO long since I bought that model (7+ years I think?) I'm not 100% sure? I THINK it was a Reaper model, but I DO remember thai I added the mohawk. It's a spare bit from the AoW Slayer kit. I'll see if I can locate the model and post a link to it. 🤞🏻. I've been asked this quite a bit. But you know you boys here are at the top of the food chain!

No, not a GW model (see post above). I use the 6th edition Doomseeker rules adapted to my 8th games. ☺️. I'm all about 8th, but I'm not afraid to adapt things like this that shouldn't have been left out!

I like how you’ve painted up the slayer Mottdon. Can I also ask what your thoughts are on the avatar of war slayers and whether you recommend to pick them up ?

100% I'd recommend them. Best bang for your Slayer bucks. You'll get about twice as many AoW Slayers for the same approximate cost for GW Slayers. Best way to grow a Slayer army fast. I've bought 4 of their Slayer sets. That equals 80 Slayers. 😳. Throw in all the other random GW Slayers I've picked up over the years from lot purchases, etc., As well as other units like Long Drong Slayers, and my Slayer army has some good numbers to it. I also prefer their look over the older, metal Slayers. Less cartoony. Now, that's personal preference, but I totally like their look more. Now, GW's NEW Slayer characters? Those are the best by FAR. But I'm not going to be making a Slayer army out of those prices any time soon. The one thing I will say negatively about the set is that they can be a challenge to rank up properly and a tad more difficult to assemble. Once you get past that, you're golden.
