Do you think he's compensating for something 🤔 Lol, well, considering the stature of all Dwarves....

Do you think he's compensating for something 🤔 He better hope it isn't a windy day. Dwarves are molded from the Earth. Dwarves are rock of the mountain. We don't merely "blow away". Grudge Book entry #12,457.

Just printed off this Dwarf Barricade. I love it! A couple of these will fit perfectly in a Dwarf-themed game! Time to paint it up!

Are those logs or stones in the middle? I think I need to see it painted.

Are those logs or stones in the middle? I think I need to see it painted. They're supposed to be stones. Logs on the back, metal on the front.

Really nice, how do you find the printing? It's something I've considered getting into. Looks super handy for scenery in particular

Really nice, how do you find the printing? It's something I've considered getting into. Looks super handy for scenery in particular I'm LOVING it! There's just SO MUCH that has opened up my hobby. Terrain is great and plentiful. Plus, there are much better options to some of GW's pieces. (There's a Hydra I'm planning on getting to soon. -10 head options!). It's never been cheaper to do it and by simply not buying as much GW stuff, I can easily afford it. The Elegoo is great and super easy to work. I highly recommend it.

So how does it work? Do you download the files or do you have to purchase them from suppliers? Which printer do you use?

So how does it work? Do you download the files or do you have to purchase them from suppliers? Which printer do you use? You download the .stl files from the internet (Thingverse is a huge database of these files and most are free, you just have to do some digging to find what you want. It's a huge database. Or you can get files from a site like Loot Studios - who I've been getting this stuff from - for a small monthly subscription fee. This month has castle parts - gate, towers, walls, etc. - and two huge dragons. Well worth a few bucks of subscription fees.) and download the files to a folder on your computer. The Elegoo Mars 2 Pro is what I got and is brilliant. It is a resin printer and "extracts" the model from a vat pool of liquid resin. Once the model is finished printing (I've noticed that most models take around 2 hrs) you'll then need to wash it in alcohol to clean it, then let it cure. This can be done by letting it sit in the sun for a couple of hours, but I also bought the Elegoo Mercury, which has a container with an agitator in the bottom and can wash the model, once that's done, it'll cure it with UV lights on a rotating base. Both of those processes take about 10 minutes. WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE! Both machines cost me about $300, US. You'll also have to buy some liquid resin (I got some off Amazon for around $30.). If you print off a ton, you'll need a healthy supply of this. So far, I've tried white and gray, and I prefer the gray because it's just easier to see the detail for some reason. The details are still there on both models, just shows up more with gray. Important to note: There is a -SLIGHT - learning curve initially. The Elegoo comes with a USB jump drive with some software preloaded on it. CthulhuBox. It's a "slicing software which prepares the print for the machine. Super easy to use once you've installed it to your computer, but two things you need to make sure you do (I had to do some internet research) - switch your print parameters to the correct dimensions (1620/2500-? I think. I'm not at my computer right now, so I'll verify later.) and then save it to your USB as a .ctb file. That'll put the file in a format the printer can read. Don't let that intimidate you! You do it once and you're set. Super easy, and if you can figure out how to post images here, that'll be no problem for you! I hope this helps a bit. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I'll do what I can to answer them for you.

I just bought these boys off eBay. Good price. I was mostly after the GW Lord though. Didn't have him until now. I'll get these painted up soon.
