I can overlook rules issues/niggles/inaccuracies if Thing is, if they get the rules wrong the results are wrong and then some muppet quotes a video and the world ends in Chaos. I'm not saying I'm perfect and we all interpret rules as we read them maybe slightly differently (example would be Dwarven handguns and the brace of pistols - it's not 100% clear to me, however subject to me viewing the segment of video again there were several mistakes and for me it stops being a fun thing to watch. However, when I'm watching them and I think there's an error I then go away and look it up. I'm happy to say I'm rarely wrong which is a good thing Question is, will it be worth spending some cash on just to see those other battles that are obviously a greater points value? Your thoughts? I reviewed the video. Lizards Vs VC end times.
It begins at the 26 minute point till 30 mins and 30 seconds. Ash fails to cast so should be broken concentration (unless Nagash isn't subject to this, but I don't have the book) he trys to cast again but it's dispelled.
Hexwraiths fight the saurus, they mention disruption but incorrectly apply it (you need at least 2x5 ranks). Steadfast is mentioned but forgotten that it has nothing to do with disruption, the saurus were run down but should have been testing on Ld8.
They redid the terror test of the skinks - I can forgive this as little redo's happen, but then they almost paniced a nearby unit, again they sorted it, just looks scrappy and combined with the loss of concentration, disruption and steadfast rules so far, the terrorghiest combat. The temple guard are immune to psychology so shouldn't have made a terror test. Thankfully the halberds and parry was done correctly. They mention heavy armour, minor mistake as they have a 5+ scaly skin, but combined with light armour they do in fact have a save vs S5. Ash was right in the first place it's a 6 but the whole vague conversation just reiterates the point that they don't know the rules.
4 minutes and thirty seconds of utter crap.
Do I watch the videos? Yes. Am I impressed with the rules, no. Doesn't really inspire me to pay for watching more. Maybe once I've watched all the free stuff I'll need my warhammer fix.

Greg Do you know what number the episode was? I'll also say, that their earlier videos had many more mistakes than their later ones. They grew and learned the game as anyone does. If anything, it helps me solidify the correct rules in my mind! But I totally get your frustration. You really want to see the true outcome of a match, not a game in which someone bent the rules to their favor. That happens a lot, if you're not careful.

Greg Oh I wouldn't spend cash on it. If I did I'd expect much more. Due to not really feeling the WFB reports of theirs that I've watched i haven't considered becoming a vault member. I can deal with some rules being wrong, even if the mistake affects the outcome with something like free entertainment with this so long as I enjoy the minis, table, tone and flow of the report. I get much more triggered by rules errors in things where I consider the result important. For example the recent champions league final probably would have been won by Liverpool if the rules had actually been followed/enforced correctly. Ramos should have had a yellow card minimum for his throw on Salah, his elbow on the goalie was an instant red per the rules and later he took a blatant dive which again per the rules is an instant yellow card. So per the rules he had enough infractions to be expelled from the game twice.....but instead he was crucial to Real Madrid winning and escaped with no bookings whatsoever. I guess I have come to expect rules errors in things that I'm passionate about and bet on like soccer, boxing and MMA which sometir costs me $ so I am more lenient. I agree 100% on then taking boring lists. I mean it's not like they are playing for prizes or even seriously (considering the rules errors) so damnit field some fun/out there lists! If I was paying for their content I'd be far more critical.

Yeah I won't consider paying for their material. They make far too many rules errors for me to enjoy more content.

I think the best battle report on Miniwargaming was when it was Skaven vs. Vampire Counts, but they each designed the other's list. So it had wacky totally not worth the cost items everywhere, it was awesome.

By far my favorite ones were the triumph and treachery games.
That expansion deserves more attention and love than it got. It's a FUN supplement.

There was one guy who was an adept Empire player, but he didn't play a TON of games with them. He knew his rules! Kept them from cheating too (which I've wondered how much is a "mistake" in their interpretation of the rules and not. It always goes in their favor it seems). I was always looking forward to seeing one of his battles! He was really good.

He should have made his own YouTube Channel because he is really knowledgeable and makes no mistakes whatsoever. His tactics and insights on the game are really impressive.

I guess this is what every good commander should do, study each option and select the best one each time.
