To me, it sounds like they are slowly shutting fantasy down.

To be honest...while it sucks that the main source of 8th edition fantasy reports are being shut down I'm okay with this.
It was IMPOSSIBLE to get the guys to look through a rulebook; I eventually just stopped trying to get them to remember rules that they were forgetting every game. Folks will say "oh, but they play a LOT of different games" or "there are a lot of rules to remember in warhammer" - while this is all true these guys are a business and it doesn't look very good for their professional image if they can't be bothered to spend an hour or two going over the comments in their videos and/or browsing through the rulebook with the intent to clear up their mistakes.
Towards the end I couldn't even watch their battle reports all the way through it seemed as though all they were doing was providing lip service and just going through the routine; then there were the battles that lasted all of 20 minutes because they were incredibly one-sided.
Also rather than explore different aspects of 8th edition (msu, uncommon armies/units) we kept seeing witch elf deathstars, ogre gutstars, blender vampires, blocks of 50+ saurus, dwarf gunlines, etc... after while I just stopped caring.
For a company that wants you to PAY for their content they just didn't seem able to keep me engaged, either because of shitty lists/matchups, an inability to remember/learn the rules and (this is more a symptom of it being a discontinued game I imagine) or an inability/unwillingness to change up the players involved. I mean towards the end the armies involved MOST of the time were vampires, ogres, or dark elves.
Having said all that, the most recent triumph and treachery where Luka played against the trio from...somewhere (I can't remember) was an absolute blast to watch - I thoroughly enjoyed watching that game. They all looked like they were having a lot of fun and it was great to see some new players and some new armies to go along with it.

I gotta say, as much as I love the guys at Miniwargaming, and they are really nice, you are right. I am a professional card dealer, I would be reprimanded in any casino if I didn't remember all the rules to all the different 'game systems' then I would be fired for it soon after. While Warhammer is a little more complicated than cards, I do think the comparison stands, you should remember the game systems that provide your bread and butter. I really agree with you on needing variety, and tried to impress that upon them when I visited. While I only played Age of Sigmar (I encourage you to watch my batreps if you like AoS game system, because I am a narcissist) I played Tomb Kings and Brets, two armies that are simply incredibly rare for Age of Sigmar. Well, or for fantasy, I think my Bret game was the last one for either system. All and all this is probably a good thing, they won't be held back by making weekly content, and can focus on a quality rather than quantity.

Bloody typical I was thinking of signing up as I'd only really found it recently You are spoilt for choice with their normal you tube vids. I’d only sign up once you get through the bucket load that are free. I do find their pay section to be a bit crap in so far as it’s a data dump of videos in date order. There is no categorisation of them which makes searching for ones you want annoying.

I’m thinking about doing another batrep with them this summer. While I never considered myself a guy who played the most competitive meta, I’d like to play something atypical. I’m open to ideas.

After seeing a video last night, Lizards Vs Undead legions I got so annoyed with the crap rules they’re spouting, the hex wraiths, they don't disrupt, the saurus ARE steadfast and this changes the outcome immensely but it’s by no means the only mistake in this or all the other videos.

I watched all of their Beastmen battle reports....all 3 of them.... The passion just wasn't there and the reports felt lacking.
Also the lists I felt were boring and I just wasn't feeling it.
I can overlook rules issues/niggles/inaccuracies if the rest of the report is a fun watch and has a good vibe but I've now watched maybe 6 of their Fantasy battle reports and wasn't particularly enjoying any of them.
