We'll have to be careful when buying anything from now on.

They're larger pots though, I think?

The warcry band is cool. Very Tzeentch/plague doctor. I really like the flying leader with the wings. He actually reminds me a bit of the Dogs of War Birdman of Catrazza.

They're larger pots though, I think? They're supposedly 18 ml pots. The normal are 12 ml and the new wash pots are 24 ml. So halfway in between. Not sure if that's good or bad.

OK, this is a big one - Gotrek Gurnisson is getting a model!!! www.warhammer-community.com/2019/06/01/black-library-live-the-reveals/Blurb: This gorgeous figure depicts Gotrek as he appears in the Mortal Realms, complete with a Fyreslayer axe and shoulder plate taken from a fallen comrade (check out Realmslayer to get the full details). And to prove he hasn’t lost his knack for killing skaven, there’s a massive pile of them beneath his feet.Gotrek aside, the model is damn amazing. I'm definitely getting it. However, I'd want it to represent Gotrek proper - which means the axe needs to change (should be easy enough), he needs to be missing an eye (easy enough through paint alone - an eyepatch would need some greenstuff work though), and that shoulder plate, whatever it is, will probably need to go too, which sounds like a trickier job.

I approve of the new Gotrek model. I'll ignore all of their hypothetical AOS lore for him though but the model taken in isolation is cool.
I do like that Black Library are doing a Warhammer horror series as well.

I like the Gotrek model though will probably use him as a unit filler in my slayers as I think with that base he’ll be closer to 40mm square in size. Not sure about the wood elf Blood Bowl team, though it might be the paint job. The thing I most dislike about GW teams at present is they only sell them with 12 mini’s. Yes you can pick up some boosters from FW but not for most of them, necessitating eBay purchases to pick up the other models. Most 3rd party sellers go with a full team incl. big guys.

The Contrast paints will be up for pre-order this coming weekend: www.warhammer-community.com/2019/06/02/pre-order-next-week-contrast-and-more/As mentioned before, there's new base paints: Some of those look useful - the Burgundy in particular, as that's been missing from the range, should be good for some Empire liveries for example. Grey Knights steel as a blue metallic could be cool for magic weapons, and Lupercal Green could be a good base for Black Orc skin. I'm not sure why the world needs another white base, another black base, two more bone ones, and two more silvers. Okay, the light silver could have a use, but Iron Warriors looks like another Leadbelcher. The air paints are being re-released alongside the (formerly discontinued) Forge World ones: And these are the contrast paints:

Not sure why GW does air paint when they don’t do dropper bottles. Who would ever use their bottles with an airbrush. :/ talk about airbrushing in extreme hard mode.

Agreed, although GW released so-called 'Sotek Green' that similarly is more of a greenish-blue

All my GW paints have been moved into dropper bottles. Granted it's like...8 paints but...yeah. Dropper bottles are just the best. Don't bother with pots. I much prefer Vallejo paints though. Much nicer.
