Picked up Kurt cheaply off fleaBay. Blister giving me heavy reminiscece in the feels right now...  Haha yeah man. I remember fondly the feel of cracking those open and feeling the weight of the metal. |

Blisters are such a nostalgia trip for me that I keep convincing myself to spend the extra money to buy unopened stuff for the 5th Ed Lizardmen army I'm building up to join one of the paint challenges in '24 so I can relive those days even more accurately.

I just cracked open my Balthasar Gelt blister. It is so nice knowing those metal parts have been hermetically sealed in there for decades. |

Finally tracked down a copy of the "Warhammer Quiz Book" at a reasonable price for my Warhammer library. Turns out I did NOT need this in my life. It is crap.  I'm still on the look out for several Citadel, Marauder, and Iron Claw catalogs. But the library is basically complete. |

I'm still on the look out for several Citadel, Marauder, and Iron Claw catalogs. But the library is basically complete. In what ways is it bad? |

I've been bad this month. Expanding my Lizardmen which uses mostly 5th Ed models barring a number of characters and units that weren't available in 5th. And by "expanding" I essentially mean "buying a new army for a 5th Ed painting challenge with friends because my current stuff is in storage", though I'm intentionally picking units and models I don't have currently(Slann, Temple Guard, Javelin Skinks, Skink Cold One Riders, Swarms) or don't mind getting more of(a 2nd Stegadon, 2nd Salamander, more Krox). So far I've picked up:
18 plastic Saurus(because way cheaper than the metals)
Saurus Command Blister
24 Javelin Skinks w/ Command
2 Krox to go in the Skinks
Salamander
Sealed Stegadon
A number of parallel slotted bases because I hate having my units moving at a slant.
I'm currently bidding on a Slann, will update if I win it.

Seems clear to me that all the trivia questions were generated by somebody taking 2.2 seconds to flip through army books and picking out a few details. I don't know what I was expecting. But I thought it would be more interesting than what it is.  |

IIRC, the point of the book was to give TOs ready made questions for their between rounds trivia sheets back when you could still get a small amount of hobby points at RTTs.

I really wish GW would go back to this, the art on these Warhammer Fantasy boxes was so inspiring and eye-catching. |

Couldn't agree more. My favorite box art is the one from the 6th Ed zombie box, where you had a few zombies in the front and then you recognize the endless horde in the back.
