Picked up a few more bits for my dwarf army:

An unopened Hammerers/Longbeards box of 10
A runelord - badly painted but I'll strip it
A grudge-thrower (latest model)
Some magnets to try some magnetic basing

That's surely me done now... apart from a bomber... and perhaps a couple more gyros... and maybe another Lord on shieldbearers.. and.. and...

So I did the one thing I said I'd not do, what with the chances of these kits coming back for TOW, and I paid through the nose to fill some gaps in Mrs Mallos Tomb King army.

And whilst there is always another unit to buy, an alternative kit build to make, more infantry to boost the ranks, and some other new project to start, we now pretty much own every unit for our main armies. We'd said we wait till TOW brought the TKs back but these came up for sale and just said sod it.

More importantly, is what they are sitting on. After spending some time at the start of the year completely refitting my home office to fit both work & gaming, I've just inherited space downstairs for a permanent gaming table. Bit annoying after all that work getting the upstairs done, but this means I finally get to expand from a 4'x4' to a full 6'x4' (with further room to expand for playing mega games a couple of times a year)
I've gone for two of the classic folding 6'x2' catering tables pushed together.

Later on, I can build a custom 6'x4' table and the fold aways will be used to extend the space for mega games.

Now I just need to get my hands on the classic oldhammer style battle mat. I've been hunting for a mousepad style one, but I find them all too busy so the hunt continues.

This month I bought...
... a whole Ogre Kingdoms army.


Painting updates will be on my painting blog. 
This should keep me busy for a while.

An empire battalion, BSB char mounted (name escapes me), 40 halbardiers, on foot bsb, and a fairly big beastmen collection to strip and rebase on to square bases, as the good Lord Sigmar intended .

GingerGutz Welcome to the forum! Don't listen to that feeble manling, Beastmen are where it's at! There are a good number of Beastmen players already on here (myself included) who can advise you on tactics and paint schemes, and I think you'll get a lot more fun out of your newly-acquired Warherd with my specially-written 8th Edition Beastmen army book (as GW were too stingy to give us one prior to killing off Fantasy).
