Great job making her epic red and white cloak stand out.

They are epic models. I second the cloak. Love the red and white. Do you use the end time rules when you use her or do you proxy her as say a vamp on dragon?

She's pretty good - Mannfred is by far the best of the Mortachs, but I think she's more fun. She's the only character I've had that successfully beat the Nurgle "unkillable Daemon Prince" in combat. Thanks to her dagger, she gimped it early on in the fight, balancing out some of its later toughness-increasing buffs. The icing on the cake was when the Daemon Prince got removed from the table and replaced with a compliant Vampire pet. I've got Arkhan done now. He's the one that works worst with magnetising, as the reins never quite stay lined up with the steed's bit.

Congrats on the end of the saga! Were those the worst offenders in your closet of half-painted nightmares (which I think most of us have)?

I think so. It was bad enough that my wife liked to ask me how I was getting on with the Mortachs any time I expressed satisfaction at having painted something else.
The other half-finished projects from aeons ago are a trio of converted Wood Elf Warhawk Riders, a Chaos Sorcerer Lord, unit of Necropolis Knights, a Mortis Engine and a Coven Throne. I don't want to go anywhere near the latter two, as they're an utter nightmare to paint, and then try to attach sub-assemblies without getting superglue everywhere.

50 zombies was never going to be enough for an Undead army. I now also have 18 Fireforge Games peasant zombies, 12 of their soldier zombies, 15(ish) Cursed City GW zombies, plus I'll probably get the new GW zombies box at some point as well. Anyway, here's the first of that lot painted - 18 peasant zombies, ugly, filthy and reeking - and that was even before they died! There are some excellent heads in the kit, e.g. these ones: The best thing is that they're really easy to paint up to a tabletop standard (which is all you need for zombies).

Awesome, I really want that model as an alternative Varghulf and it looks sweet on a 50mm square.
Superb.
