The elephant looks like a Salvatore darli painting! It is. I've probably seen some of his stuff before but this is the first time I've been to an exhibition of purely his thrippy stuff.

Love the small details. Is this a metal miniature?

Love the small details. Is this a metal miniature? Yes it's metal. OOP 6th Edition treeman is the main part (head and roots) with bits from the really old OOP treemen as well. 2 generations of Wood Elf treemen combined in the model.

Super Groot complete and ready for battle. I may use Durthu or custom rules for it. I really like this guy haha Tree whacks for all. The Groot army grows.

Love what you did here. I was planning on doing something very similar. I've got that very old treeman model that is the middle of yours, but I used his arms to bulk up another treeman, also a really old one. So I have that middle but without arms and I'm not sure what to do with him. I just missed out on a metal 6th edition treeman on an ebay auction, and if I had won him, was going to do something similar to combine the two. Great minds...

That Treeman is very cool, I think I prefer the older style of Treeman to the newer ones

Finished off my Giant Slothrus. mierce-miniatures.com/index.php?act=pro&pre=mrm_dkl_fmr_blr_mbs_601_000Lumbering Mallox is the model. Very happy to complete this guy and with how he turned out. I just love how characterful the sculpt is. I did my best to disguise the gaps that needed filling, there weren't any huge ones. The mierce base he came with has front and side indicators which will make playing Warhammer with him easier. One more miniature to complete before 2021 hits baby!

He look awesome, GMW! I especially like the blue fur! Maybe you could use him with Thundertusk rules (minus the Ogres)?

He look awesome, GMW! I especially like the blue fur! Maybe you could use him with Thundertusk rules (minus the Ogres)? You know that's actually a great idea. I already use a stonehorn without the ogres. I think the thundertusk has solo rules in SOM as well. I'll check my book next time. ....the shaggy fur and Slothrus has tusks as well....how did I not think of that? (How was I thripping on a flightless frost Phoenix ASL when the tusk match/link was so obvious lol) Base is 100x100 as well so pretty close. I'll modify them a bit to slow him down movement wise and do some tweaks but yeah I think you've just given me my template Thanks for the comments guys. Really appreciate it. This mini just speaks to me so I spent some time with the base.

The Thundertusk didn't get rules in the main SoM book, but GW did a pdf that had SoM rules for their later 8th edition monsters without riders ("Scrolls of Binding Compendium").
If you don't have that pdf, drop me a message, as I do.
