Looking at the additional supplements released for 8th, this one on the surface appeals to me the most but if anybody who owns and/or has played it, I would be interested in their thoughts before I try to get a second hand copy.

super-fun multiplayer gaming. two things to keep in mind: 1) there will be litle triumph but lots of treachery 2) you really can't do much planning ahead like in a regular game. the cards, the random turn order and people ganging up just mean it'll be a wild ride. best to just go with the flow and enjoy the craziness
highly recommend it.

I got the T&T box, but we have yet to play.
The rules make me feel like T&T is perfect for those fun silly units that never make it to the table top.

It is possibly the greatest expansion that GW ever released for the game. You ideally want at least 4 players when playing it to maximise the fun and that is the key word. Every time I’ve played it, it’s been quality entertainment. Some of the biggest laughs in a game. You can’t go into it with any real thoughts of winning, just go in with a goblin state of mind! sedge I was very tempted to bring it along to the next Riotville as something a bit different (if he was ok with it).

I've had some of my best Warhammer experiences playing T&T. Edit: Like Knoffles wrote, the game truly shines when everyone playing it does it with the mentality of a bucket of crabs.

The only negative I find with T&T, and it's really to me THE only negative, is that I've had it when one turn I go first, and the next I go last and easily in bteween chatter, playing, etc an hour can go by without playing. lol .
I also wish it was more FFA, in that if I'm in combat with player "A", and then it's player "B"'s turn and we get into combat, that I could still fight that combat with player "A", as opposed to being pushed off.
But still - 100% worth buying and palying

COLEMANIA TACTICAL TIP: Whatever the object of the T&T scenario is - go do it! It you sit back and play defensive, you'll soon realize you've lost. Play big or go home! To steel a phrase: "Just Do it!" or "Do it!"

I think it is fun but the two times I have played I was out of chance of victory on turn 1, sandwich by other player’s or extreme failed LD that lead to half my army fled of table. So keep playing 4h(it’s a loooong game) without chance to win was not as enjoyable but still “beer and pretzel’s”, talking warhammer and be annoying with small stabs on whoever is leading, makes it fun.

Best thing that came out of 8th edition is Triumph & Treachery, have played it about a dozen times, loved it since the very first time, we even use it with other editions.
