Hi all, a brief notice just went up that the 8th edition WAP material will be removed from the blog in the next few weeks, so if you have any interest in it, I’d recommend downloading it now.

Sad news. Thanks for the warning, knoffles.
Time to head over there and download the more exotic lists. One never knows when fancy strikes and a Kingdom of Ind army just needs to be done.

Looks like Matthias is making the same mistake as T9A - abandoning his original aim of improving and balancing 8th to go off into the tangent of his own separate game. I wonder if this has something to do with the impending arrival of TOW - that in Matthias' mind, when it arrives everyone will either port over to it or, if they're not keen, go to T9A or his 9th Edition, and either way leaving 8th to die. Of course he hasn't reckoned on the population of 8th fans here existing...
On one hand, I do think it's a shame that he cuts his work off from the general public once he thinks nobody will use it anymore, as he did this before with his 7th Edition stuff which I find frustrating - I've only been able to find a copy of his Amazons and Norse supplements for that edition via other sources.
However, on the other hand, his departure from the 8th Edition fan-made rules market opens up the window for me to advertise my own work with much less competition to worry about - and I'm certainly not going to abandon 8th. My biggest mission is to keep this current edition of the game as balanced as possible while preserving the fun and adding new army lists for folk to try out.

Freeing up space on the blog for more 9th Ed items I believe is the reason cited.

Freeing up space on the blog for more 9th Ed items I believe is the reason cited. Blogs have limited space?

Freeing up space on the blog for more 9th Ed items I believe is the reason cited. Blogs have limited space? they do for files/pic uploads unless you pay for additional storage. At least Wordpress does. Not sure about blogspot as I don’ t use that one.
