Ogre player knows about TOW. I’m pretty sure the rest of them don’t even know about AOS. Lucky them right? Lol. Doubt we’ll move into TOW. I’m tired of ripping apart and remaking armies, it’s why we stuck with eighth. Well, also enjoy eighth the most. Yeah, not ripping apart any bases anymore and paying for new ones and putting that work in.. No sir.. |

Hi all, don't think I ever introduced myself! I live in the UK in the Midlands & used to collect Warhammer probably 25 years ago. I had a small Dwarf army around 5th/6th edition that I played a few games with - mainly against Bretonia who 1-charge slaughtered me! I then collected an Empire army I painted but never played with & sold probably 18 years ago and never collected since... until around 15 months ago when I was idly looking for a board game for the wife & I to play and remembered Warhammer. I tried to find a set of 'Battle for Skull Pass', ended up buying half of it & not looked back since! My main love is Dwarfs.. got lots of love for those short, stubborn stunties! My Empire army is more of a secondary force that I enjoy painting with rather than gaming with. My brother & a couple of friends play it too so I've a couple of options for games. My brother in particular has about 5 pro-painted armies he's collected at great expense: High Elves Orcs & Goblins Lizardmen Ogre Kingdoms Chaos Warriors I look in on this forum & occasionally Bugmans brewery too from time to time. Almost three years in but I’ll jump in here. I’m Paul. My online handles are Lost and Winters. On lol I use Winters Lost. Started Warhammer 20 years ago with eight friends. Only four of us still have armies and only two of us have played in the last decade. That’s mostly because I was the driving force and I moved to china eleven years ago (I live in Guangzhou if you want to add to the map). I sold my collection on one of my trips home and only this last time back did I decide to start a new collection and get back into the game. I’m building warriors though I used to have armies for daemons, beastmen, high elves, O&G, vampires and was starting ogres. Mostly Mained khorne (love collecting skulls for the blood god) but jumped into a Nurgle army. Haven’t used that mark much since my very first army when chaos was still combined under hordes. Hey all, longtime lurker, first time poster. My name is Roland. I live in the SF Bay Area and I have been playing all things GW on and off since 1991, but recently got back into playing fantasy with some of my childhood friends. Growing up, I typically gravitated toward Chaos armies, but I always wanted to expand on and play a real throng of O’n’G’s. I have been having a blast playing 8th. Really great set of rules(especially when compared to 8th and 9th edition 40k, which got me back into the hobby). I’ll be hopefully posting more soon with painting and battle report updates. Feel free to reach out, especially if you’re in the Bay Area, to get together and play. We typically get together every couple of weeks to play a few games in a day. Ciao, for now!
