Awesome to see this thread! I just found my 5th edition starter box of Bretonnian and Lizardmen models, and was thinking of adding on to them (starting with Bretonnia) at least enough to field a 1000 point army. 12 KotR and 24 archers is a good start, just a couple characters and some men at arms should do it.

Nice stuff knoffles, the yellow is really vibrant and I like how you've individualized the horses with the different styles on the caparisons.

This is the other Norba Trebuchet I picked up a while ago (and the first they released). It’s a simpler design than the other one but I still like it a lot now it’s built and painted. The resin did need some work in places as it wasn’t the cleanest cast but not a huge amount. I just need to start on the more specialist knights (grail/questing), the mounted yeoman, the archers and the hero on Pegasus and the half a dozen other mounted heroes and then the figures I own are pretty much done!* 😁 * I’ll caveat this by saying I’m still tempted to get the fireforge foot sergeants. You get 42 in a box for a reasonable price (and they will match the mounted yeoman who were also from there). There’s no way I’m shelling out for the OOP GW models. Still, I’m not sure I will ever use the peasant blocks, I love the idea of knights too much!

Very Nice yellow on those Knights!, Imagine the effort needed 15 years ago to get a decent yellow like that >.< did you use Averland Sunset and Cassandora yellow on them?.. The Trebs are Cool, i love the wood look ...was that Agrax wash or army painter dip?.... looking at this stuff encourages me to start on my path to 8Th ed glory...
Cheers, Mithril

Spot on with the Knight colours. The trebs were a single layer of the contrast paint - snakebite leather. Most lazy bit of painting I’ve ever done and fully proud of it 😂

These were finished a earlier in the year (I think) but completely missed posting a photo to this plog. 24 bowmen. As an aside, I now only have the skinks to paint, to finally finish the 5th edition box bought when it was released. I’m sure you’ll agree that that shows exceptional pace 😂
