The smoke looks… not great

The smoke looks… not great I tend to agree. Looks a little too cotton-y. I'm glad that they're giving some love to the Cities of Sigmar, but I sincerely hope that this isn't the aesthetic they're going for with the Empire. It's a little too over-the-top adornment, the helmets look stupid, and while I love the Manticore and rider, it doesn't feel like an Empire unit. Maybe that's what they're going for, so that people will be less inclined to use the same models for both games.

Looks like we have our next Bret reveal. The mounted BSB.

He looks really good I think. I was expecting something extremely over the top, but he looks quite plain which I find refreshing. Shame he's resin, gonna cost more than the OOP metal brets!

I wish they showed more angles. But I'm kind of liking that Manticore. It is about 30% too large of coarse. But better than nearly all the oversized plastic monsters GW has made in the last fifteen years.

I like the BSB. He's not over the top decorated and they've left plenty of room for creatives to personalize him.
The Manticore looks amazing and I like the rider as well. Not too sure about the feathers on him?? I've always seen leathery bat wings on Manticores, but maybe that makes him a "good" Manticore? I'll have to see if in person before I make any final judgements on it.

...was hoping for more Old World Tomb Kings. Oh well.
Bsb is quality I think and the Manticore is great. Don't like the rider sans the hair and the Cities of Sigmar stuff doesn't do it for me excluding the knights which are pretty cool.

The new Cities of Skubmar infantry and cavalry look dull as all hell, but the Manticore looks fantastic. Shame it's being wasted on the soulless AoS rehash of the Empire, but the girl-power heroine rider can be replaced with a cooler looking rider from another race easily enough.
The Skaven warband also looks good, hopefully they'll set the template for some new Plague Monks and Giant Rats in the near future.
Great-looking Bretonnian Paladin too, shame it's Forge World Resin again which sucks arse. Also I'm not impressed that they've previewed just one model at this point in time, it makes me worried that they're not going to release TOW in the 40th anniversary of Warhammer Fantasy year after all.
It really is a mystery to me why GW are making character models in FW resin when they've already revolutionised the art of making character models in plastic. It's like going back to fax machines in the age of email.

Didn't see this posted yet but I actually think these are pretty cool. The boss could imo be a Fantasy Orc Warboss (I'm thinking kinda a Dogs of War type character like Ruglug) and looks really cool imo. Kinda like a nomadic (Savage Orc?) Warboss which is why he looks a bit different from the usual. These monkey/ape guys have great fur texture imo. I'm all for simian creatures and these look dangerous.

I have to say, I really like the Cities of Sigmar figures. They would be a cool range for a Dogs of War army...and the general of the manticore is totally awesome!

I really like them! I could totally see taking those two monkeys, cutting their tails off and using them as Yetis. They might be a bit smaller. Hard to tell, out of context. The other Savage Orcs would make great characters (Lords/Heroes). The Goblins might make good Hobgoblins. The bloated Goblin...gross...and that's a compliment. He reminds me of a puss-filled pimple, about to pop. Don't touch him!

I really like the theme of their stuff. It’s cool to see some O&G that have obviously been fighting Lizardmen. It’s a good addition to the line. I’m not terribly fond of the far left one, I think it’s crossing into LOTR Uruk’hai facial structure. Not that it’s bad, but not typical fantasy design.
