Gryphons are more Egyptian than a dragon...
Other potential creatures include variations of Sphinxes, Serpopards, Ammuts, Scarabs, Rocs, Scorpions etc etc...
Just not really a dragon 🤪

I like the snake. But the vampire is horrible. Especially the Chaos Dwarf style hat.

I really like it. It got a good ugly groove going on.

I thought this was one of the 'Elves' or whatever, not a vampire. Doesn't really fit that aesthetic in my mind.
I'd buy the model for the snake, and use the "vampire" as a statue or something for terrain.

The hat could actually work as the blade for a bone giant weapon.

It's not a fantasy release, but this is interesting - GW are re-releasing the models from the old 40k starter set "Battle for Maccrage" (4th edition, 2004) as a Made to Order release: www.warhammer-community.com/2023/12/24/sunday-preview-return-to-the-battle-for-macraggeIt's an odd choice given none of the kits there are classics (Tactical Marines got a couple of much better kits before Primaris ones launched, and the Tyranids have had those kits replaced too with betters), though the scenery is good. Maybe there's a chance for old WFB starter sets to get Made to Order re-releases?

Well they did rerelease the Island of Blood after AOS was a thing. I’m still kicking myself for not getting that.

How awesome would it be if on the launch date for TOW, you could by any of the original WFB starters (4th through 8th edition) in TOW packaging?

How awesome would it be if on the launch date for TOW, you could by any of the original WFB starters (4th through 8th edition) in TOW packaging? All for the low price of a modest sportier. Honestly what made those sets great was the great value you got (tons of miniatures, rulebook, gaming implements). So whether or not a remake would be good is solely based on the new price point.

To this day, some of my fav GW models are the Goblin and High Elf spearmen from 4th edition; and the Bretonnian Knights, Saurus Warriors and Skinks from 5th edition.

With one of the rumours stating 6th of January as the date pre-orders go up, we should know for sure with the next preview article. This coming Sunday will show what goes up on said January 6th.
