Um...well.....not sure what I think of these.... I'm definitely surprised.
The Elven hammerer helmets are awesome.....for elite Beastmen....but I don't see how elves can swing their hammers overhead with those ridiculous helmets. I'd take off the beast head bits and use them for a Beastmen infantry unit.
As for the giant cows ....as a Beastlord I love it and will probably pick one up at some stage. I could potentially even use the dual wielding one with 'Brass Bull' rules.
This release gives me more Beastmen vibes than High Elves ones. That's probably now what GW were going for.
They certainly are creative though!

www.warhammer-community.com/2020/04/04/the-warhammer-preview-online-2-heroes-heretics-and-a-squirrelgw-homepage-post-1fw-homepage-post-1/Another preview. Main points: There's gonna be an army starter set for these new High/Light Elves - 10 spearmen, 5 cavalry, and the invisible Eltharion. It has an army book plus dice too, so probably not going to be any cheaper than buying the infantry/cavalry separetly should you want them. Blood Bowl has a new multipart Treeman kit: And finally there's a trailer video for a new Giants ("Gargants" - "Sons of Behemat") faction. No models previewed, but there'll be new ones: "We can’t tell you much about this battletome yet, save that it’ll let you field an army of gargants, gargants and nothing but gargants. We may well even see some brand-new ones!"

It's probably the same idea as the Sisters of Battle preview box from November, which was $210 USD, IIRC.

Those trees just look odd. What's wrong with treemen looking like actual trees?

I don't know AoS fluff at all...I just don't get the giant cow thing. It doesn't seem to gel with the High Elves, oh well.

Well I've got an exclusive preview of their new AoS Dark Elves. Twisted by the warp, and betrayed by his High Cow Elf brothers who denied him his birthright of the Phoenix Cown, I present to you - The Witch King Malecowth:
