I really like that guy. The rather normal head on the twisted body is great.
Great conversion.

This is exactly my thesis on painting armies for Warhammer Fantasy Battles.

Relevnt text, for a sense of completion: QUOTED "When I started my career at GW, my housemates in a shared flat were Ian Pickstock (you might remember his Treadheads articles) and Torben Schnoor (of 'Eavy Metal fame), some of the best miniature painters I've ever known.
This taught me two things about my own ability as a miniature painter:
Humility. There are people with almost supernatural skills when it comes to miniature painting. You are not going be overtake them. Accept this, and the life as miniature painter gets a lot more enjoyable.
Speed. As a game designer, you are not aiming to win the Golden Demon Slayer Sword. You are aiming to have a fully-painted army for play testing your latest kooky idea as quickly as possible. Speed is the most essential skill of a painter when you are designing a tabletop game.
You can still convey the idea and the colour schemes of your army even when painting fast, and having lots of units allows you to create the impact that a large painted force has. As Stalin said: 'Quantity has quality all of its own'.
So I learned from my housemates a few golden rules of game designer painting and listened as they patiently tried to teach me the basic techniques that would serve me well over the years:
A) Always use black undercoat unless you absolutely need bright colors. So much more forgiving on details!
B) Drybrushing. Lots of drybrushing. If your model's details and highlights can be brought out this way, never bring your details brush to bear, or you will never have a finished army.
C) Washes. Same thing, but in reverse. If the nooks and crannies of your model can be shown with washes, DO IT.
D) Colour scheme is everything. Pick just a few dominant colors for your model: they will read better, the mini will be painted in half the time, and it will read much better on he tabletop.
E) Learn to enjoy the meditative, zen-like state of painting for its own sake, rather than put unreasonable expectations upon yourself.

I was looking at my Nurgle Allies today. They deserve their own page. Based on Papa Nurgles Lucky Number being 7, I am putting together the following: ~1). A unit of 49 (7 ranks, 7 files) Plague Bearers [Demons] ~2). A unit of 49 (7 ranks, 7 files) Chaos Warriors [Mortals] w. the Mark of Nurgle ~3). A unit of 49 (7 ranks, 7 files) Beastmen w. the Mark of Nurgle [Gor Herd] ~4). A unit of 49 (7 ranks, 7 files) Marauders, double dipping with the Mortals Think that's enough ground and pound infantry?? An impressive battlefield sight. Each unit will actually be 50 so I could run them (reform!) in a 10x5 Horde if I need to. That's also a lot of CORE Points for a Chaos Unbound Army. i.e. "Legions of Chaos" End Times. By my count via ArmyBuilder, 2715 worth of core. That means when I start adding up other stuffs... a Demon Prince, a Shaggoth, a Chimera, another Demon Prince, and a Nurgle Giant, etc. etc. I think might have 8,000ish points of Nurgle. They're no longer the SIDEKICK to my Tomb Kings. They're their own thing!

I do think that is more than enough infantry Regarding Tuomas' painting thoughts I agree, that is why contrast paints are kind of nice - although this does go against the black undercoat rule. I have always used black if painting traditionally

August/September 2021. I've started a Chaos Dwarf project. I spent the past few weeks assembling units, doing some 3D printing, and doing lots of color scheme tests. I also spent many hours doing rubber molds and casting some miniatures I really like that I plan to kitbash for various Chaos Dwarf units. Excitement!

I don't think it's particularly unfair, you only have 1 unit (and a few hobgobbos)
