Yeah, that dark (dare I say black) metal colour of the Ironbreakers' armour is gorgeous. Besides that I have to say that you kinda blew my mind with that unit. I've always had a pretty negative opinion of the plastic Ironbreaker set due to my love of the previous metal version, which to me have always been the epitomy of warhammer dwarves, but seeing one of the latter assimilated into a unit of the former I now realise how similar they actually are. I wonder what other similar biases I might have in terms of models.

Thanks. If you’re curious the paints used are all citadel: abaddon black base followed by warplock bronze, Gehennas gold, runefang steel (all drybrushed, with less paint on each layer), then the detail is auric armour gold and Balthasar gold. No washes.
Funny what you say about the models because I actually had a full unit of the metal 6th Ed ones, based and magnetised ready to paint, but then changed my mind last minute, pulled them off the bases, sold them and bought the plastic ones! I then missed the standard bearer model so much I bought him back on eBay ha. Indecision. Worked out well in the end though.

I really like the Ironbreaker unit. The Thane looks like an absolute boss in the centre like that.

Super late to the party, but you've done an amazing job. Has there been any addition since last year?
