That is great. Thank you for sharing. The only problem I see is unit fillers.

This is excellent, how do stay inside them though? Magnets?

This thread is a great idea!
Not so sure about the converters. Cutting umpteen squares of metal sheet (I use the sheet on my movement trays at the moment) to put in the converters would be onerous but doable so my magnetised figures would stick to them. (I’d have to do this anyway with a conversion tray which is what I was intending for TOW.)
But how do the converters stick to my existing (or any) movement trays?
You’d have to put magnetic sheet on the underside of the converters - I do this with some cavalry bases instead of disc magnets but it’s not ideal. It all adds height to the figure. With the converters that’s 4 layers under the figure’s own base: movement tray, sheet on tray, sheet on converter, converter. Maybe figures on 20mm bases magnetised in 25mm converters on a tray with a lip would be stable enough for gaming without magnetising the converters to the tray. Not sure I’d trust that for transporting in the back of the car though.

This is excellent, how do stay inside them though? Magnets? he was talking about magnets but the trays I use are pretty much closed lip so these would just sit inside my trays. Alternatively, as I like having movement trays for all my units, I might just have spare trays with something like this glued to the base so I just set the models up directly in these, in the tray.

The problem with glueing these to your tray is if you start mixing in new TOW characters, who'll need to be on 25mm bases, they won't be able to fit in. I quite like these as adaptors, but I think you'd need to keep them loose.

Good call. I hadn’t thought about that. Loose it is then!

I just need the sizes for other bases confirming now. I think I’ll be using these for my guys

Well done that man for making this discovery! Currently I've been making some base converters of my own using bits of sprue and the Renedra 25mm flat squares that work pretty well, but I'm pleased to know that these provide a ready-made solution for the same problem.

That is great. Thank you for sharing. The only problem I see is unit fillers. Actually these solve the unit filler problem better than cut trays. you could get spacers for different sized bases inside the same tray/unit without any issue. I really like to multibase, so I have units with 20mm (individual models). 40mm (3-4 models), 60 mm (6-9 models) square bases, as well as regimental 20x40/20x60/20x80/40x60mm bases with mutliple models on. ALL within the same unit. I would just need spacers that turn them into 25mm/50mm/75mm square and 25x50/25x75/25x100/50x75. That is if I even get bothered with addressing the base size. Doing that would be impossible on a tray with fixed slots (not to mention things like lord on shieldbearers placement )

um.. I do wonder though.
Does anyone else sell these? Even in other sizes?

I’m sure they will when more is known/when the demand is there

Personally I like the movement tray idea better. 1 thing that accommodates the unit instead of 20+ things and a movement tray. But I'm not going to worry about it till the game drops and even then I'll house rule things with my mate till we decide if we stick to old world.

um.. I do wonder though. Does anyone else sell these? Even in other sizes? I think you’ll see a lot on Etsy/eBay. I’ll certainly sell them on my store. Sadly we don’t know the actual sizes for everything yet. Personally I like the movement tray idea better. 1 thing that accommodates the unit instead of 20+ things and a movement tray. But I'm not going to worry about it till the game drops and even then I'll house rule things with my mate till we decide if we stick to old world. Only problem with the movement tray one is reforming. It happens.
