Bretonnia hasn't won a game yet in our group but we haven't played them a lot.

Well, I only play seven armies so that's harder. I'll add some that the internet says are weak such as Tomb Kings, Wood elves and Vampire counts I refuse to add beastmen since I'm crushing my opponent:)

If you are personally using them to good effect, I think that it is better attributed to your generalship than to the strength of the army!

That said; ANY ARMY CAN BEAT ANY ARMY. I have seen Beastmen general beat the pants of Elf armies. I have seem Orcs & Goblins get some fun and lucky rolls and steamroll Warriors. Truly, any given Sunday my friends.

Disclaimer I: I play Tomb Kings. A lot. Perhaps my most played army. Disclaimer II: I just started playing Beastmen.

Truly, any given Sunday my friends. Agreed, the power difference is not so vast as to create a hopeless situation. I think 8th edition is still fairly well balanced; things were much more uneven under the rule of 7th edition. I have a friend who used to play Orcs & Goblins quite a bit and he fared very well with them. They do have a few powerful tools at their disposal.

If you put a Dogs of War option there, I may vote for it

If you put a Dogs of War option there, I may vote for it Dogs of War as far as I know are not supported officially under 8th edition rules. I wanted to keep the polls focused on only the fully official armies (which is why I also left off the pseudo-official Chaos Dwarfs). Where are you getting the Dogs of War rules from? The 6th edition rules?

I opted Brets, Beastmen, Tomb Kings and.. struggled for a fourth so went ogres even though I would probably class them in the middle
In truth they are probably the weakest 3 even though they can put out a few powerful builds
Why would you say chaos dwarfs are pseudo official when they have had an actual 8th edition list put out

In the hands of KevinC I have found a pure goblin army (manglers, squig herds, trolls, too) to be close to unbeatable. Common goblins with shields and bows are awesome.

Why would you say chaos dwarfs are pseudo official when they have had an actual 8th edition list put out The reason I classed it that way was because they were released by Forge World instead of mainstream GW. In my experience, Forge World units/armies have always been treated as not being fully official and requiring your opponent's permission to field. Even rules they classify as being "official" have never been treated in the same way as rules arising from the GW released army books and the BRB. Forge World also has a history of releasing rules that are much less balanced, even by GW's standard. Opinions will vary of course, but that was my rationale.
