I too am fond of lil' big head and yeah, it certainly helps when painting eyeballs to have a model with big eyes.

Finished the last 3 of my 15 Pestigors, with an entire day to spare! Will probably start working on their bases tomorrow. Decided to go with the same theme as I've done for the rest of my Chaos army. 

From left to right:




#10 - 3 gifts: Mr. Pig
1. EotG - Chaos Weapon - Two Handed - Sword - Fade (261). 2. Bestial Face - Boar (126). 3. Resilient (777).


#11 - 4 gifts: The Merman
1. Mercreature (634). 2. Plague - Creeping Buboes (GoN). 3. Resilient (779). 4. EotG - Chaos Weapon - Twohander - Not a Sword - Howling (401).

#9- 3 gifts: The Amazing Non-Flying Squirrel
1. Furry (424). 2. Wings (975). 3. Chaos Armour.
At first the plan was to give him wings like a flying squirrel but I couldn't really make it work to my liking so in the end I decided to just ignore that gift. Sticking with my overarching theme of ruining eyes I tried to give him eyes that shun as warpstone but yeah, kinda botched it. As is tradition.

they're looking really good, and all massed together they really show off your talent.

As per the unit filler I'd suggest perhaps a larger spawn? This would let you go as serious or as goofy as you prefer.
Or maybe something more "mechanical"? A "centaur" with the upper body resting upon a wheelbarrow.

or take a look at these guys for some inspiration . I think anything with wheels as lower body is particularly effective. "Legs" too, makes an excellent base for some monstrous conversion.

Finally finished ten Gladiator-themed Nurgle Warriors/Chosen with Additional Hand Weapons that I started painting ages ago. I did however run out of Stirland Battlemire for their bases so they'll have to wait a little bit longer until they are fully completed. Until then here are some crappy photos:



It's safe to say that these guys weren't nearly as fun to paint as the pestigors. The slapchop approach makes a tremendous difference in both speed and outcome.

I continue to love your creative converting talents and perfectly executed paint schemes.

These are excellent, and so much more "realistic" than the more generic chaos troops we see from GW these days, in terms of random mutated ickiness.

Finished some more minis, this time 2 Warriors of Nurgle with Shields and 3 Forsaken, allthough I suspect the guy in middle might just end up being used as a Pestigor. Fairly pleased with how these came out even though I did take some shortcuts and got lazy/sloppy toward the end.
