I like these and the new rule. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
With regards to the hunting hawk, did you think about using the same rules as for Arloth in the Wood Elf book? Admittedly your rule is much simpler and elegant and shouldn't cost as much.
If you wanted an alternative fluffy rule for the hawk: Skree the Falcon (one use only): At the start of a combat phase, Aldebrand signals his hawk to attack. During that combat phase one model of your choosing is at -1 to hit and suffers one automatic Str 3 hit. At the end of the combat phase Skree is considered to have been killed or driven off and will not impact future combats.

Cheers, I fancied doing them since we have the models for them all sat around.
I am starting to get a little pedantic over the fonts, I think the main body of text should actually be ITC Garamond and the rules headers is something else I haven't quite worked out.. perhaps a regular Caslon font.

Aldebrand's Hawk could be bumped up to S4. And I'd consider make him a shooting attack as well.

I do agree the hawk is a little lacklustre but I think strength 4 may be too much, a Giant Eagle is only strength 4. At least it auto hits I have fiddled with the fonts a little, do you think this looks a bit better? Here is Valmir I will knock up some roster entries including points for them all (and possibly the War Wagon rules KevinC made for his campaign)

Yes, thanks for doing this! I'll definitely be using these since my Empire army is based out of Middenheim and includes several Hochland units that have come to assist their plight.
I love the idea of them having to be the general, but I think that it'd be fine to have more than one in a game. You just have to decide which one concedes the role of general. (In my mind, the one who's territory they are meeting in would assume the general role - fluff wise.) BUT...if you do include more than one, at least 25% of the army must be from each respective Count's province. Those units can only benefit from their Count's Inspiring Presence rule. Any unit that is from neither Count's province, uses the general's Inspiring Presence. (For example, if you are using Boris and Valdmir, but have a Cannon from Nuln, then whichever Count you've declared as your general, would be the one to inspire the Cannon crew.
I also think the Hawk is fine at S3.

I have knocked up the KevinC 's War Wagon rules. Does the formatting look ok? Should the Upgrades & picture be swapped perhaps? Probably a load of typos, was quite hard to cram it all in.

For an additional ability for the Talisman, it could be to reroll failed armour saves. Considering he has a 1+ armour save, the ability to reroll armour saves plus to heal a wound each time would make for make for good defense. Additionally, he should have Hatred (Beastmen) and/or even some kind of obsession rule regarding Khazarak One-Eye, who is his archenemy that took his eye. Perhaps he gains the Frenzy special rule if Khazarak is also on the table. The Hatred Beastmen and frenzy rule is a good call. I think if I give him a dawnstone rolled in he will have to cost a little more points. I think he would end up bring something like: re-roll armour save or 5++ = 290 points 6++ & MR(1) = 280 points I have almost finished Aldebrand Ludenhof, will post him up in a bit I prefer the re-roll armor save = 290 points. He needs to be a tank. And I love the Hatred (Beastmen) rule for him and prehaps Eternal Hatred for Khazarak One-Eye and any unit he's with? I don't know if you've noticed, but each Elector Count brings (or at least should) something different to the table. Boris is a tank - hard to kill, Aldebrand - extra attacks, Valmir - strong ranged attack. Marius brings the crazy - also a discount Elector. I really like the War Wagon though. What exactly does the Engineer do? Increase BS if included? And I assume that the shots from the WW can only be directed to the front arc, not in a 360 degree range? The origional WW was a tad before my time. I might be having a game coming up soon. I could test out the rules for Boris (especially since my army is Middenheim based.) Also, I have 16 Teutogen Guard. I'd love to use them and I've always played them as themed Greatswords, but I'd love to see some "official" rules for them. Do you think you could come up with something for them? I'd think they'd be slightly better than a normal Greatsword unit. Something like their wolf pelts giving them +1 armor save vs shooting attacks. (Kinda like White Lions.)

I do need to revamp Boris a little bit. I am just slightly wary of buffing him too much so he is better than Karl Franz. He shouldn't be in my opinion but it is easy to go overboard building characters. The original War Wagon rules do not mention a 360 degree firing arc so I assume it is just to the front. KevinC 's rules also mention placing the Blunderbuss template to the front so I guess just to the front. An Engineer would increase BS and would follow the standard character mounted on chariot rules, and would also move it from Rare -> Heroes

I think that just giving him a rerollable armor save isn't really putting him in the same league as KF. Just in base stats, KF has better Initiative, Attacks, and Leadership. And his equipment is far superior.
Now, if you had given Boris a 5++ ward save, in addition to the rerollable armor save, then I think he'd start to come close. Close, but not quite there. The Hatred and Eternal Hatred for Beastmen just fits the fluff. Not super useful since it only benefits him and only against one opponent, but it should be in there given who it is.
I think that the 290 price tag is appropriate. That's the point where I have to really start considering whether he's worth it or not. That tells me it's a good pricing point.

Small correction, in the 3rd paragraph it looks like it says repeater hang guns (I am on my mobile so might be the small screen distorting the text though).
