I referenced fantasy alot, also advocated that aos was too simple and they should return to the old world and support players that want a more complex and mature game.

I did think of asking them to bring back Fantasy but I tried that last year and it didn't work, so I've tried a more subtle tactic of mentioning that it would be great to bring back Bretonnians and Tomb Kings with brand new minis - bringing back Fantasy would be quite a tall order especially if it involved replacing AoS completely, so I tried referring to something a bit less drastic to start off with, to set things in motion one step at a time as it were.
I also asked them to change the cover art on Codices even though I don't like or care about 8th Edition 40K (because using the cover art from the previous edition looks naff and cheap), as well as make unit boxes a bit better value for money (because 10 Slayers/Vulkites for £35 is a bit much) and alter the release schedules to focus more on other factions and less on Sigmarines and Imperium vs Chaos rubbish because other factions deserve more love now. We need to get it into their heads that Sigmarines and Space Marines are not the be-all and end-all, for I believe it was partly that mindset that gave us the awful transition period between Fantasy and AoS in the first place.

I asked for a "classic games" section. Where they can continue to support the games they previously made.
I used an analogy... If your passport expires, you still exist, its still you in the picture. You just can't get on the plane.
I don't want to go on the AoS plane, just know I exist and want to play the game you made.

Love that idea, but wouldn't Necromunda and Blood Bowl have to be moved to that section too, as they're games that GW previously made? But then they are new editions of old games. I mean, if GW were simply to start reprinting Fantasy 8th Edition again, release Bretonnian and Beastmen army books for that edition and continue it as if AoS never happened, then that would be a good way of defining the 'classic games' section - supporting previous editions of games previously made. However, if they were to bring fantasy back as a 9th Edition but keep the Old World and the setting the same with no Sigmarines, I rather imagine it would fit more under Specialist games as they're new editions of old games like this proposed 9th Edition.

Yeah, they're supported now under specialist games.
Unsupported "classic" games like Man o War, Fantasy Battles etc is what I meant.
They don't have to release models at all. Just rules. That's what I said anyway.

Skaven are actually in a pretty good place as is. Their 7th edition book is both powerful and robust in 8th edition. The other two could definitely use the help though (I'd put TK in this category too).

But that still doesn't give them the full colour hardback luxury everyone else got though, and Skaven players like their luxury just as much as everyone else (I should know because I am one ). The other two could definitely use the help though (I'd put TK in this category too). I agree - TK need to be buffed so they're better than Vampire Counts. I wonder if we could call Prince Apophas to infiltrate GW HQ and do the dirty deed...

I don’t think they care so will not bother this year. Not worth my time. Don’t play any of their current games either and heard a lot of shit about new 8ed 40k too with the rules/game utterly fall apart in larger games.

Why don't you submit a questionnaire and tell them you think they don't care.........

Apophas would fail... he is too underpowered! I chose him because he's the most stealthy of the TK characters - surely even he can subdue some unarmed GW staff?
