The big change was to this guy - my Treeman. He was looking a bit sad on top, but now has a fantastic 'fro. Before: After:

The foliage on the treeman's head is a great idea. This is how all treemen should be done

Excellent base upgrades. I really like muted colors of your dryads, and then the foliage boost on your treeman. I wonder if it would be worth doing that to dryads?

I've thought about it for both the Dryads and Treekin, plus Drycha/the Branchwraith, but I'm not yet sure whether it's worth doing. It helps the Treeman really stand out, but it may end up totally overwhelming the unit of Dryads, and I'd rather not lose the Branchwraith's horns. It's also liable to slowly fall off over time, and while I don't mind maintaining one model, I'm not keen on doing it for 30-ish. I've seen it done by others - e.g.http://asrai.druchii.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12649 - and I may do it in the future.

Flying through the elves! Love the bushy top on the tree. I really want that female hero. It’s one of the few I think I’m missing.

More Woodies - here's the 28 Glade Guard I just finished, plus the 20 I already had done. There should be some more Wood Elves over the next few months - Eternal Guard and Wildwood Rangers, as both look relatively simple to paint. However, this thread is going to remain lacking in High Elves - I think I'm a few years off painting any of them.

Hi Sedge! Wonderful job. Is this a converted model? How do u made it? My army need a sorceress on dark steed ASAP : ) Thanks! It's a fully kitbashed model: - Horse - from the Dark Elf Cold One/Scourgerunner Chariot kit. If you build it as the Cold One Chariot, you have two horses spare.
- Legs - Wood Elf Glade Riders.
- Torso - Wood Elf Sisters of the Thorn. The neck may need some trimming to accommodate your chosen head.
- Head - Dark Elf Witch Elf - I think I used the champion's head for this. The new AoS "Khinerai" harpies kit also has some good heads that could have been used here (I didn't have that kit at the time I built this model).
- Right arm - Dark Elf Sister of Slaughter.
- Left arm - this is the banner bearer arm from the Dark Elf Wood Elf/Sister of Slaughter kit.
- Mancatcher prongs on the left arm weapon - you get a couple of these "mancatchers" in the Dark Elf Cold One/Scourgerunner Chariot kit, I chopped the top bit off and mounted it on the banner pole.
- Dagger on her hip - I think this is from the Dark Elf Black Dragon kit. But you get similar daggers in the Cold One Knight kit as well, I think.
Legs are probably the hardest component from that to find these days. as the Glade Riders kit is long discontinued. If you have the Black Dragon kit, you could use the Sorceress legs from there, but they're spread quite wide so may need some bending to fit the horse better.

Possibly supplemented with bits from the Dragon kit for extra character? Just realized that Dark Rider's legs are sculpted on the steed and the torso is going to be bent forward. Think I'll try with the steed from the Scourgeranner Chariot and Cold One Knight model, but i don't know if they will fit nicely. Maybe as an alternative i could buy some Dragon Prince and mix them with Corsairs bits : )
