I really like the creature, especially with that first head. It's what happens when a vulture and an archaeopteryx fall in love?
My guess based on other GW kits is that using it without rider/throne would require MAJOR reconstructive surgery on back&neck.

My guess based on other GW kits is that using it without rider/throne would require MAJOR reconstructive surgery on back&neck. That would be my guess too. Pretty much all GW kits are designed specifically to STOP kit bashing. I've also noticed that you only get 2-3 "extra" bits on a sprue nowadays as well. Not totally sure WHY GW has chosen to go this route, since some of the best pieces have come from kit-bashed models.

Did they have to have a twin-tailed comet brand on their chest?

Rhetorical question at its finest!
I quite like the paintjob on the red one.

I like the Dragons. And they are completely usable in WFB.

They are massive though -- you'd need a 150 x 100 base for them - the Warhammer Community page has a video that shows them alongside Sigmarines at the end. They're utterly massive - think Storm of Magic Emperor Dragon scale.

Beautiful model but I doubt I would ever buy one as the size just seems like it would be a pain to transport outside of my home, GW do seem to produce a lot of models now that seem less then ideal as actual gaming pieces.

I think they're beautiful, but I'd only have one use for it, and that's as an Imperial Dragon for Karl Franz. So, yeah,.... wouldn't see the light of day except maybe once, and just for sh*ts 'n giggles.
I'm sure it looks impressive on the table top, but no doubt it has a price tag to match. Given that they've woven in things like the comet brand into his chest (not necessarily a bad thing for an Imperial Dragon), I'm sure that there's probably more unseen "obstacles" that the pics don't show, limiting it's true use to AoS unless HEAVILY modified. That, along with the multitude of great looking Dragon models available by other companies (at much cheaper prices, no doubt) this'll probably be a hard pass for me.
I like the direction GW is going though.

Nice Emperor Dragon model for those who want one.
Will probably be horrendously expensive though.

Itβs the two faces of Scar from the Lion King π. I really like the red dragon looks good. Massive but very cool.

Those dragons are actually quite cool - I like the sculpts and the poses. The sigmarines are even not bad... for sigmarines.
These are definitely fantasy usable, as the sculpted sigmar-nonsense could easily be sliced off the armour. Then just replace the rider with a vampire/chaos lord/preferred flavour of elf as desired.

While better than the other dragons they still aren't my cup of tea sadly. Then again, not being to my preference can hardly be held against them.

These remind me of the lotr nazgul on fellbeast models which I prefer. Two face dragon is cool and all paint jobs are nice. Hate the twin tailed comet in the chest. Didn't notice it at first. Looking forwards to seeing them vs Kragnos size comparison like the cave drawing depictions on the website.
