I've been locked in a purgatory of commission painting for the last few months, but I finally got the opportunity to paint something for myself last night. Since this forum seems to be my forum of choice now I've decided to set up a project log here to share the new chaos stuff I paint. Here's my Forsaken "champion" (I know they can't actually have one in the rules, but chaos units don't look right to me without one). I suppose he probably counts as a unit filler as well, he's on a cavalry base as he was too wide for a 25mm square. He's not 100% finished (still needs static grass on his base and maybe another touch out two), but he's good enough to show. So yeah, that's the start of my plog here.

Cool colours. Is he the size of an ogre?

Cool colours. Is he the size of an ogre? Thanks. He's less bulky than an ogre certainly, but probably about as tall. I'll take a comparison photo with a regular human next time I've got something new to post.

Looking forward to seeing some more miniatures. Mr Forsaken gives me a slightly Slaanesh vibe with his toothy claw hand

I'm afraid that I'm locked in the throes of moving at the moment and don't expect to be able to work on anything (except possibly some commission stuff that doesn't belong on this forum) until about the 24th of August. But as soon as I can post more stuff I will.

Well, I managed a short (and final) painting session with Naitsabes here in California before my journey to New York. Got started on this Tzeentch wizard/champion/herald (the Gaunt Summoner model from the Silver Tower): But this will really be all the painting I get done until the 24th.

Looking really nice so far. The flame, robes and feathers are nice.

I like the paint choices for the Tzeentch sorcerer. The gold torso and head is very chaotic. I love seeing this model on a proper square base!

Thanks for the responses everyone. Just to keep this thread moving a little bit I found some old pictures of finished miniatures on my phone. So here's a short gallery of some of my older work: Great Unclean One. Tzeentch Disc Rider "Ul-Ruk, the Red" Beastlord for my Beastmen, still need to do his back banner some day. Nurgle hero riding a Palanquin. Some classic Chaos Dwarves, they are still awaiting shields. Khorne Daemon Prince And finally a simple Beastman, I just really love this classic old model. So anyways, that's a few of my chaos dudes. I'll do a proper next update and respond comments and questions once I'm settled in Rochester (posting this from a hotel in Topeka Kansas right now).

Where does the wolf beastman come from? He's an old GW Beastman from the 1989 range, #022019 in this image:
